No more mistakes while finding your passion

In today's world Passion is the most widely used word.

But most of people don't know the actual meaning of it, so in this post, we will discuss what is the real meaning of passion? How to achieve it? And we will also learn if your hobbies or interest are considered passion or not. 

Before discussing these questions, we all know that everyone these days has some very cool passion like Entrepreneurship, Singing, and Acting, etc. But Did you ask yourself are these your passion?  

Our society made these passions look cool but the reality is any individual's passion can't be judge by any parameter, it’s an individual’s choice.

Without any social pressure, I want you to choose your passion. 

But the question is how to find passion? 

We will discuss this later in the article but first, let’s understand what is passion itself?

What is the real meaning of passion?

According to dictionary.com "Any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling, as love or hate" 

However, I think, there is no exact definition of it; everyone has their definition according to their perspective.

So according to my perspective "A passion is a challenge that you love to do, and you have to complete this challenge in any given situation or difficulties, by completing and doing you will add value to someone's life"

So are interest and hobbies can be considered passion or not.

The answer is No

I will tell you why? 

Because as we discussed passion is a challenge and not every activity is a challenge, for example, let us say sleeping but sleeping can never be your passion.

Until your sleeping provides value to someone and becomes a challenge for you. 

If any company want to research on sleeping effects and need someone who can sleep for 10-12 hours then your sleeping becomes a challenge(just sleeping itself is not a challenge but sleeping for 10-12 hours is a challenge) to you and also providing value to that company so in this situation you can say sleeping is your passion.

Are you pretending your passion?

Since most people do not know what is passion they keep pretending that their interests and hobbies are passion.

We look at celebrities, billionaires, athletes and say that's how I want my life to look like. I just want to become like them, I want to look like them, I want to live like them and then you pretend to have a passion like them. 

You try to do everything to become like them without even asking yourself what you want. 

Is this what you want for the rest of your life or you’re influenced by their success?

Think about what's important to you? 

What makes you feel good, not to show to the world. 

Whether you’re pretending your passion or just trying to chase goals based on someone else life. 

Do not compare your life to someone's life; choose your goals, passion on your own.

How to find your passion.

Now you have clarity about what would be your passion. Look at the given steps to find your passion.

Note:- Before seeing the step once again See the definition of passion.

You can do without getting paid.

You can do it when you are tired.

You can do it when you are feeling sleepy.

You can do on holiday.

Mark Zuckerberg has a hobby, which is Coding. Coding is a measure as to how effectively someone can code to achieve the desired output, he has the craze for coding. He finds a problem-solving purpose for coding that is to connect peoples via the internet through App called Facemash(Facebook), he turned his hobby into a profitable profession by introducing advertisements in his app.

It’s not that easy to find passion. Most probably you are still confused and you may choose the wrong passion because it is hard to find your real passion so keep looking, follow the steps you’ll eventually get there.

Now if you found your passion then try to achieve excellence in it.

In the process to achieve excellence after some time, you will automatically realize that your choice was right or wrong.

If you are unsatisfied with your choice then try to find another passion and try until you find the right one.

Finding passion is a continuous process and it takes steps to find so experiment with your idea and keep trying until you find your real passion.

Lastly, remember your True passion is the work that never finishes for you until you die, you just always want to do it or improve it.
