My friend doesn't like tattoos ,so I shouldn't get one!

I have been wanting to have some micro tatoos on my body for a longtime,not because of the influence of what i see on TV or my friends. Its something i really desire and i dont care about the outcomes. I have been working on some designs that i want and looking out for different concepts, and i believe its something in my control which matters to me coz i believe i got the ability to desire whatever is in my control.

With being said,I believe anyone who want to have tatoos on their body, know the outcomes of having a tatoo in most societies we living in today,they know the dangers of having tatoos which i wont talk about,you can google them though,they are well aware of some of the kind of prejudices they will face from different societies, but they still want to get tatooed on.

Today i had an argument with one of my good friend about having a tatoo. He insisted that its bad for me to have a tatoo on my body,because he believes that it will ruin the opportunities coming my way later on in the future,he went on said that he would distance himself a little from me as he has done with other friends who got tatoos. The argument went on and on for more the half an hour.

Well,I went on and asked my dear freind a very simple question concerning the issue. '' How does a single tattoo on one's body for their own self-satisfaction harm you or the society?.'' He said it doesn't. Well whats the matter then. Personally I felt like he was just bringing in negative angry for no freaking reason. Well its his opinion and i respect that. You cant force someone into something they dont like or are uncomfortable with. Now that mean that i shouldn't get a tattoo on my body because my friend is uncomfortable with it?. Hell no,Im not gonna let anyone's opinion affect my choices.

Now lets take a look at this example,

Now in Turkey most young men want to own a motorbike,race bikes instead of owing a car which logically keeps them safer from accidents,now when these young men talk to their loved ones about purchasing a motor bike,their loved ones freak out. '' Its dangerous for you,thats a crazy idea to do,we dont support you in this bike,why dont you get a car instead,many have have died in motor accidents bla bla bla...'' they say such boring stuff . But why do they keep saying all these negative things ? People died in car accidents too,an accident is an accident.I DONT think all these young men want to buy the bike because they want to go out there kill themselves,No i dont think so.Its something bigger than a motorbike,its a feeling,its a desire,you feeling the adrenaline in your boby,you feel the blood pumping fast just to get the one thing that you desire despite the fact that it got all these disadvantages they keep on yupping about. Of course i think these loved ones do it because they care about you,they dont wanna see you hurt,they want the best for you,which is okay but they gotta respect my choices too,they gotta try and listen to the reason why I want something that dangerous according to them.

Let me wrap it up this way,

When you want to have a tatto,like in my position,I think you know what consquences come with have it,you might get skin cancer,you might not be hire for certain jobs,you know all these kind of things,dont you?. Like Marcus Aurelius said ''Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact.Everything you see is a perspective, not the truth.'' so go out the expirience what you want,so long its harming nobody and be sure that its the exactly one you want.We dont know whats gonna happen after that, you might feel uncomfortable with the decisions you made but on the other side you might be way more happier than you expected. Like the Stoics say ,' dont focus so much on the future which is not in your control'
