Most People Stay Average. Here’s How I Escaped.

I was broke, lost, and skinny, both in body and in mind, three years ago.

I was a college student who didn’t have a clue what I wanted from life. I didn’t like myself, what I looked like, how I felt, or what I had control of in my future.

I’d scroll through social media, looking at people who were living what I wanted to be living, running businesses, staying in shape, exploring the world, and I’d tell myself, “One day.”

However, that “one day” never materialized.

I was far too comfortable in misery.

Unhappily, but comfortably enough

That’s the trap most people fall into.

Their existence is troubled enough to complain, but not enough to alter it.

Thus, they anesthetize themselves to all things real by mainstream dopamine fixes like scrolling, drinking, playing games, gossiping, anything to just avoid dealing with it altogether.

I told people that I could turn their life completely around in 90 days, and they laughed at this statement.

"They said that 90 days is too short."

However, those same people have been "waiting for the right moment" for years.

The truth is, change is not about time; it’s about urgency.

And then, after I understood that, everything in my life began to change.

1. Provide What's Possible

All begins in perspective.

People generally don’t limit themselves because they’re unable to do more, but because they feel they’re unable to do more.

Your mental picture of who you are determines what is possible for you.

Change that picture, and your life will also change.

How, then? By gathering evidence for the fact that your present understanding of yourself is untrue.

Start small, lift weights, complete a project, make your first dollar online.

Every small victory stretches your idea of what is possible.

As your mind expands, so does your world!

2. Learning to Write

Writing is the most valuable skill in the 21st century.

It shows you how to think, communicate ideas, and attract people who agree with what is being communicated.

Even if, of course, you have no intention of being a "writer," writing provides leverage—leverage in business, leverage in marketing, leverage in communication.

Begin to share what you learn from the Internet.

It is actually the easiest way to attract opportunities, clients, and an audience.

The more I write, the better I think.

And the better you think, the better you live.

3. Start a Business (Even a Small One)

You do not have to know it all to get started.

I didn’t.

Business is more than money; it’s about expansion.

It challenges you to overcome fear, build confidence, learn skills, and more!

You find yourself solving problems, learning quickly, and relying on yourself.

Even a small business can teach more about life than any degree ever could.

4. From Watching to Building

The vast majority of people find themselves in "Tutorial Hell."

They devour information but never implement it.

True growth only begins when you create.

Pick a project – either build a website, a product, or a service.

You’ll mess up, but learn at least 10x faster.

Projects translate theory into outcome.

You don’t need more information; what you really need is more action!

5. Investment in Yourself

Forget about crypto, stocks, or real estate.

The greatest investment that people make is in themselves.

Courses, mentorships, communities - they’re all worth huge returns if what’s learned is applied to real-world applications.

I have invested over $15,000 in mentorships.

That single choice resulted in my earning 10 times more in a year.

Why? Because mentoring is not only information, it’s speed.

You gain clarity, guidance, and feedback, which will cut years from your learning curve.

6. Obsess About Your Goals

Once Work-life balance is an overrated concept, you require alignment, not balance.

When you enjoy what you do, it is no longer work, but play! And, of course, the more you play, the quicker you’ll grow.

And if you want to live differently, then you have to act differently.

Obsess. Set goals that frighten you to death. Implement relentlessly.

"Most people won’t understand what you’re saying, that’s how you know you’re heading in the right direction."

7. Have a Strong Body

A weak body does not allow your mind to function at its optimal level.

Weight training and running completely transformed everything for me!

I, who used to be underweight and full of insecurity, have gained 35 pounds of muscle to feel unbeatable!

While training your body, you train your mind as well.

You learn to be disciplined, consistent, and patient, which is useful in all areas of life.

Become strong, focused, confident.

However, in order to Body always leads, mind always follows.

8. Move With Urgency

Most people waste years waiting for the "right moment."

There is no perfect time. The time to do it is now, before you’re ready.

Successful people work quickly. A problem needs to be recognized, tackled, and solved as they learn what they’re doing along the way.

You’re going to mess up, break things, but that’s ok; just fix them quicker.

Velocity generates momentum! Momentum alters everything. I was blocked in year three.

Today, I am free. And the only difference between those two versions of myself is action. You don’t have to be special.

You don’t need perfect timing. All you have to do is get going! All else shall follow!
