Meet Ronny C

Meet Ronny C

What’s your name and where are you from?

My names Ronny C. I’m 18, from Brooklyn New York, born and raised.

Why do you love what you do?

I love being able to tell my own story in my music. There’s a million things that go through my head. Using music to express that with my deep lyricism just makes things easier, and maybe it can reach someone else too who understands. Growing up as a kid with ADHD, things were difficult but music always got me and I was able to tweak it into my lifestyle.

What makes you different?

The rap game has changed immensely over the last couple of years. I feel like nobody in the game can actually rap anymore, it’s just the same trap beat that’s been remade over 100 times. I know how to write lyrics, I understand rhyme schemes, flow, I’ve mastered my craft way beyond most people my age or older and I’m nowhere near my peak yet.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

5 years from now I see myself consistently improving with my music and just as hungry as I am right now. I’ve been taking music seriously for the past 3 years and since then my craft has only been getting better. I’ve gotten older, wiser, and more comfortable being in my own skin as an artist and it won’t be too long before people start noticing. All I need is the platform, and the right amount of push and in 5 years I can be in control of the industry. Regardless, if I end up as a big name in 5 years I’m still going to be on the front line, putting in pain, making sure I solidify my spot and doing everything I can to gain the respect as one of the greatest MC’s to pick up a mic.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

I want to accomplish simply making all my dreams come true. I want to be able to tell myself that all the work I put in wasn’t for nothing. Every night writing 100s of songs, recording and mixing them in my bedroom until the sun came up wasn’t a waste. I want to be able to tell my family that I did what I said I would do despite them not believing in me. I know my talents will take me far and someday I’ll be a household name that everybody will hear about. That’s the end goal and that’s exactly where I know I’ll be.

What do you bring to your industry?

I bring flavor, versatility, and consistency. I’m not a fan of doing the same thing, I always like to switch it up. You can see that in my discography. My music will always stay being me and my story, but I always find different ways to express and tell it. I believe versatility is what the music industry is missing. As said before, everything is the same mumble trap stuff and I’m here to change it all. I’ve studied my craft and have been rapping since I was 12, I understand everything about rap and will one day shock the industry.

What do you want to be remembered by?

I want to be remembered by my breath taking lyricism and amazing ability to flow perfectly on any beat. I tell a story every time I make a song and I encourage everyone who listens to my music to sit down and listen. I also want to be remembered by my impressive talent of free styling straight off the dome. I take pride in my freestyle ability. I show great talent and I believe at the end of it all, I will be remembered as a heavily respected figure in the game as well as providing influence to other generations that will come after me.
