What’s your name and where are you from?

My name is Pdweestraw. I’m from the South Shore area of Chicago, Illinois.

Why do you love what you do?

I fell in love with creating music when I was 10 years old. I love this so much because it’s a passion. I love starting from scratch with nothing and being surprised and delighted as lines and bars drop from the ethers into my consciousness, then on wax. The ultimate joy is when I listen back and am very pleased! It’s as if someone else made it and I’m just listening to enjoy. The supreme love for this comes when someone else enjoys the art and appreciates it! That’s like Granny making Sunday dinner. All she wants to hear is that “omg Grandma this delicious.”

What makes you different?

The one thing that makes me different (as an artist and as a person) is my energy. I’m good peoples. Good heart. Good intentions. And I’m Gangsta’, turned-up, poppin’, getting to it, etc… but I’m a Supreme Being on this planet, one of the mystical gate-keepers of unseen realms. I know, I’m different. Musically, I’m able to morph and camouflage with whatever construct is presenting itself. I’m a musician, not a rapper. Google identifies Pdweestraw as a “Musical Artist.” You can tell an artist who knows music. That’s what separates me from a lot of artists and rappers. I really love and know music. I’ve become music.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years from this date and time (February 11, 2023,11:11 CST) I see myself in complete harmony and love with my Higher Self. I see myself having obtained mastery in discipline and mind control. Career-wise, I see myself as one of the biggest Musical Artists of this century. I see myself along-side people who I aspire to work with right now. The Futures, the Drakes, the ATL Jacobs and 21 Savages. I see myself being one of the Top-10 Most Streamed/Sold Artists for decades preceding. This may happen next month. Manifestation is real.

I also see myself happy, healthy, and full of love. Five years from now I can see myself looking for a new venture to conquer. I will have accomplished being one of the Top Musical Artists of all time, so I can see a new path unfolding, and ultimately leading to mastery of that new venture.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

I want to build a legacy that passes down many generations of the teachings and principles I live on right now. I want to create a lasting dynasty of solid high-quality men and women and be the Grandfather that they all reference and love. I also want to be one of the biggest musicians in the world. I want to accomplish legend status in the music industry. Legendary. Music that is timeless to the date. Generations after me appreciating one of the greatest of all times. I want to accomplish a history of creating timeless music for the world.

What do you bring to your industry?

I bring balance. I bring hope and I bring something different. I bring light and love, while still giving the people what they want. It’s just a loving soul behind the turn-up. Parents can feel comfortable about their children holding me, Pdweestraw the Artist, as a role model. I bring genuine integrity that is unfiltered and uncut. The energy doesn’t conform to a specific look or lifestyle. I bring that look that the people want while possessing and displaying the character they need.

What do you want to be remembered by?

I want to be remembered by my unwavering integrity in character. I want to be remembered for my music always being top-tier excellence. I want to be remembered for going my own route and standing ten-toes on who I Am, never shying away.
