What's your name & where are you from?

My name is SWNKY & I'm from Atlanta, GA born and raised.

Why do you love what you do?

I love what I do because it's an escape somewhere I can go and just be me unapologetically. Somewhere my emotions can run free. Somewhere I can truly speak on how I'm feeling with the hopes of reaching someone else who feels the same but just can't piece the words together just right. I feel most times people underestimate the power of music and what it can do for you. It's almost magical in a way because for those two to three minutes nothing else matters except how that song makes you feel. Music brings out the emotions I feel people should feel. Happiness, sadness, anger, and a rush. I love what I do because I feel like music makes life simple, Makes it a little more sentimental.

What makes you different?

What makes me different is my story and how I chose to tell it, both musically and through fashion! The voice to those who think they're alone because they are different or "weird" even. In this life most are scared to truly be themselves because of judgment, everybody wants to be a star, but is afraid of their reflection. Heck, sometimes even I am, but it's about burying the fear and fighting to bring the true you to the light. Bright enough for everybody to see; with the intention of others doing the same through my music!

where do you see yourself in 5 Years?

I see myself taking care of my family, being a full-time creative, and getting paid to be me while affecting lives in the best way possible! I plan to be touring creating all different types of music every day and just allowing life to help me create the next big hit! Ultimately I just want to make myself happy and make music people can relate to while still being to create a soundtrack for their life through my music.

What do you want to accomplish in Life?

I'm looking to accomplish and connect with a sound different than most, a sound no matter the genre you can get lost in! I want to accomplish an escape the world can get lost in or even just those just willing to listen. This life won't be forever so I just want to make the biggest impact while I'm here to leave a forever-breathing legacy once I'm gone! And lastly but most important of all, out of this life I want to accomplish my full life's purpose.

What do you bring to the industry?

I bring sheer star power, and something fun & new to the industry, a breath of fresh air. A party vibe, with emotionally deep-cutting lyrics that mean a lot to not only me but whoever else, is out there listening that can relate! I bring fresh, eclectic yet fun vibes to the industry that makes you feel like a kid again with no worries other than where the next party is and when is this one over. Life's like a party might as make the best of it.

What do you want to be remembered by?

I want to be remembered for my willingness to stand, fight & party through life on no one else's terms but my own! Finding & staying true to the real you. Oftentimes in life, as we get older the world tends to suck the fun out of things and I think life should be filled with nothing but memories and fun! We're all the stories in the end anyway, might as well make it a good one!
