Q1. What’s your name and where are you from?
I go by the name Maxximilli I was born in Kansas City, Kansas but was raised and spent most of my childhood in Lawrence, KS. I moved down to Kansas City Missouri when I was 17 and lived in Los Angeles for 2 years. Then came back to Kansas City. I like to call Kansas City my home cause it always felt more like home to me.
Q2. Why do you love what you do?
I love what I do because at this point it is just what is natural for me. I’ve been doing this so long it just feels like it’s apart of me honestly. I feel the most alive whenever I am recording music or making my videos. I feel like it’s my contribution to this world. It makes the most sense to me to chase in life what makes me feel most alive.
Q3. What makes you different?
What makes me different is I’m authentic and follow my own sounds instead of copying what’s hot. I feel like I can hit a lot of different genres in a new way. I can do a lot of classic styles in genres such of rock and rap but I also embrace new sounds to help push my own unique style. I like to think I’m very versatile and I do everything my own way.
Q4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself on the top of my game within the next 5 years. I hope to be owning multiple businesses such as my own cannabis line, my own clothing line, and any other ventures I could be apart of. Also of course, being ahead in the music industry releasing studio albums and going on major tours. I hope to have mastered my skills even more and to have a large amount of knowledge regarding music creation.
Q5. What do you want to accomplish in life?
I want to bring my music to the world and touch and influence a lot of people in a positive way. I want to be able to travel and see the world while performing music everywhere I go. I want to be able to have a lot of interesting experiences and memories. I also want to have everyone around me to have a good life. I want to help out a lot of people by giving back and sharing my art with them.
Q6. What do you bring to your industry?
I think I’m one of those artists that bridges the gap between genres and is hard to define exactly what genre they are. You might hear me do one song a completely different way then my last song and I find a lot of beauty in that. I’m always ready to experiment with new sounds and I consider myself a work horse when I get the opportunities to perform in the studio.
Q7. What do you want to be remembered by?
I want to be remembered for my music and it touching people. I hope for people to be able to hear my music and relate to my pain in a way that makes them feel less lonely in this world. When I’m gone from this earth there’s nothing more I would rather have than an affect on a lot of people and for myself to be living through that. I look at a lot of artists that have passed away and I think about how many people still listen to them and play their music all the time I would love to be in that category of building some beautiful impactful art in this world while I was here. I also want to be remembered as a person that was always showing love to other people.
