Daemon “CGC BABII “ Hill , straight outta New York, Brooklyn raised but born in Long Island to be exact.
Why do you love what you do?
Since A youngin I’ve had the passion for music especially the influence has always been around me either at home or school. My brothers made music daily I was A young dude watching them build their own stu in the crib , sitting everything on crates & bussing out track after track back in the CD days. My cousins & uncles were the djs , any record you could think of they had it & then as well for me going to school singing in shows, taking piano , flute or guitar classes felt it was meant to be , like I was pretty much born into it.
What makes you different?
Truly I feel like my aura off rip is different real mellow chill but I could turn up whenever. People always tend to walk up too me at any job I worked or outside & was like you don’t belong here , you look famous or compared me too Dave East , School boy q & ah few others especially in my highschool day , I definitely got that A lot. Mainly though people always told me I had this light too me that just attracts attention but when it comes to my sound I don’t limit my ears nor style, I love trying new things broadening my horizons & reach out too different sides with my music. I might rap at one point , sing , harmonize, the whole 9, I love to set different vybz.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I’m trying to forever keep money flowing if this music don’t cut it , I’m still gone be determined to own my own business within fashion , music, gaming or truly get back into tattooing. It’s all about progression & moving forward. Gotta keep the ball rolling if you don’t then who will? Opportunities aren’t handed too everyone , everyday so however I can get the chance to step through the door & breathe the air or success as I want it to be. I’d be set forever.
What do you want to accomplish in life?
Making sure my Kids & entire Family is straight for life. If that’s not lined up as I have it mapped out ima feel as if I failed you know, I’m always trying to find ah way to make sure the ones I keep close understand & know this journey isn’t just for me. I can never be selfish towards the ones that held it down for me plus that’s all we got at the end of the day & soemtimes friends can become family so most definitely that’s all I want & need for sure.
What do you bring to your industry?
I bring flavor within my music , fashion with the drip , ah major vision & insight to this journey im on, it’s all about elevation or leveling up. As said I can’t & wont limit myself to one style in music or just music itself. You have to have Ah plan b even C in case A doesn’t work out how you planned.
What do you want to be remembered by?
I want People to See , hear or look at me as that dude who’ll get any occasion turnt, whenever , wherever I am or my music is. I want people to remember me as one of the greats , one of the most versatile to walk the earth. I just want to be one of the ones which I know I am.
