What’s your name and where are you from?

My stage name is "Blkbird". It's pronounced like "Blackbird". There's actually a whole lot of meaning behind that name but anyway. I am a Recording Artist from Sandusky, Ohio

Why do you love what you do?

See, I don't really know if I "love" what I do. I certainly don't hate it. But it feels almost like I HAVE to do it. A compulsion. I MUST create to survive. It's much closer to an obsession, if I'm being honest. With not only songs; but I can draw, write, paint, sculpt, dance, act - I'm always looking to create. Music is the only media that makes complete sense to me. It lets me explore ideas and express things my own way, in a way people can understand. I can be a tad complex, but deep down I'm a simple guy.

What makes you different?

Everything about me is "different" honestly. My approach to songwriting, lyrics, to my voice, and style. I sought to make something unique. From my energy on stage, to my appearance, it's all authentically me. I don't shed my usual awkwardness; I am myself no matter where I am, or what I do. I writey own songs, i do all my own cover art, I edit my own video content- I do it all.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I see myself working harder than ever; even more relentless in my pursuit of the next level. I think that mindset will take me far, as adopting that driven mentality is what got me here. With how quickly I'm coming up, at this trajectory, in 5 years I'll be a Billboard artist. I say that humbly, although confidence will unfortunately always look like arrogance to haters and nay-sayers.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

I want to accomplish a lot in this life. I want to free my family from the oppression of poverty, establish my own lane and create something timeless, I want my life to serve as a brief dialogue between the universe and my listeners thus solidifying my name in music history. And most of all I want to make my mother proud.

What do you bring to your industry?

I bring some different. I present something Refreshing. I offer something original, and raw. and I believe I can make significant contributions to entertainment history. My versatility and range allows me to reach many different tastes, and at the end of the day that's what a legend has; Influence. My first headline show packed the house, I'm certainly marketable. I sincerely believe I could very well become an Icon. I can offer views and perspectives of not just art, but the world as a whole. And I have so many ideas that could be considered "revolutionary" if executed with enough care. Truth is I have no clue how far my potential goes. But I do know that many things I once thought I was incapable of just a year ago, have become things I can do in my sleep.

What do you want to be remembered by?

This is a tough question. It's a question I have written so many songs I want to be remembered by my effect. My voice, my smile, the connections I make, the warmth, love, and kindness.

But i also want remembered by my darkness, my pain, my losses, my failures, my mistakes. I wanna be remembered fully, because that will mean that I was truly known. I want to be remembered as a demonstration of what the human spirit is capable of.
