"To forgive is to release a prisoner and find out that you were the prisoner."

Lewis B. Smedes

Self-esteem and self-love are intertwined. If you suffer from low self-esteem, the root of this cause may stem from insufficient love for your being. So, it's hard to find that piece of love for yourself. It seems unnatural to love yourself because your mind has been full of unhealthy thoughts for a long time.

When you do not love yourself, you simply convey to the whole universe that you do not deserve love or other positive vibrations that are based on the feeling of love.

Learning to love yourself begins with making a conscious decision, an intention to be happy, and to have a fulfilling life. When you do not love yourself and suffer from low self-esteem, it is impossible to reach your full potential.

The moment you decide to love yourself, then you can say that you want to live. You accept that you are responsible for the experiences in your life and you want to shine in a fulfilled existence. So if you've decided to start loving yourself but still don't know how to do it, we'll talk about ways to get started.

1. Fall in love with yourself - think about who you are. Just like a flower that needs water to grow, it learns to feed itself every day. Love yourself for everything you see good in yourself, and accept your flaws and the fact that you are not perfect.

This does not mean that you cannot learn from mistakes and change your bad habits, but learn to be warm with yourself despite these leaks. Look in the mirror and fall in love with the reflection that you are. Learn to love yourself

2. Eliminate criticism of yourself - there is a voice in your head that often tells you that you are not good because you are stupid and you make mistakes. If you think you are being criticized often, make an effort and stop.

3. Be gentle and positive - When you start thinking positively about yourself, the love you have for yourself grows. Make it a habit to brag about yourself in front of the mirror. These positive thoughts will help you grow.

4. Recognize your effort - it's not always about winning something or getting up in everything you do. Often the effort is all that matters. Admit that you did the best you could, even if you failed in your actions.

5. Forget about worries - self-love means forgetting worries. It's horrible to live in constant trouble. Worry doesn't help you in any way. And that can't go away on its own. Instead of worrying, spend time thinking about how to handle the situation. If the situation is beyond your power, then turn your thoughts to divinity/universe.

6 Trust yourself. Trust your skills. Be aware that you can make important changes for yourself, as long as you put your soul into it.

7. Forgive yourself if you have made mistakes in the past that made you feel guilty, then you need to forgive yourself. We all make mistakes, so you don't have to remember that all the time. carry with you the baggage of emotional traumas from childhood, learn to forgive yourself.

8 Make positive statements every day. Refresh your mind with positive statements. For example, tell yourself: I love and accept myself completely and unconditionally. Repeat the statement aloud every day.

9. Express your gratitude - cultivate an appreciation for what you are and what you have. Feel grateful that you live and that you are healthy and fully capable of making a difference in your life. Learn to love yourself

10. Relax, give yourself space to take breaks. If you spend time working without paying attention to your health, it means that you do not love yourself enough to take care of your body. Fill your time with peace, relaxing music, and beautiful pictures. Everything feeds your soul.

11 Learn to see Beauty — When you learn to see beauty in everything, you will see the beauty in you. Stop smelling the flowers. Notice everything. Feel everything. The pink of the flowers in your garden, the green of the plants, the whispers of the wind, and the charm of a sunset.
