How to Celebrate the Little Things
Chasing a passion is like starting at the bottom of the ladder and climbing your way up. Sounds easy, right? A rung there, and rung there, a viola, you’re at the top. As all fellow dreamers would agree, that is definitely not the case. If you added 20-pound weights to each arm, put some oil on the rungs, and some lava at the bottom, you start getting the idea. You can’t forget that Scar is ready to knock you down a peg while uttering "Long live the king," every chance he gets... That was such a sad scene, wasn’t it? It will forever bring a tear to my eye.

Determination Gets It Done
Determination is a feeling that I find difficult to hold on to when life’s unexpected circumstances arises that brings stress. Oftentimes, I wonder if those circumstances are put in my path to derail me from reaching goals. As I become older, I feel that the things I want to accomplish and goals I want to reach are on an urgent schedule because I’m now a few years past the half century age. However, in many cases, I’ve noticed how people 50+ are really enjoying life, doing things that brings them peace and some form of joy.

5 Reasons to Smile Today
Do you ever feel like sometimes life is literally too much to handle that just thinking about smiling is exhausting? Trust me, I get you. There have been several times in my life where I just didn't believe anymore, I lost myself and I can honestly say that I didn't love myself anymore, and that is one of the main reasons I allowed so many people to hurt me over and over again. I am sure you have heard the saying "If you don't respect yourself, how can anyone else respect you?" It is completely true, when you lose your meaning, sense of happiness, and purpose, you tend to allow a lot more negative energy than you normally would. Now, I can't say that you will never be overwhelmed again, but I can say that things will be a lot easier to deal with by simply taking control of the situation and not letting the situation take control of you.

Lessons Learnt in Life
1. When one door of opportunity closes in your life another one opens. Trust me, this happens always because that is how mother nature works. We are provided with 'opportunities' whose success or failure depends on the level of our efforts and sometimes circumstances too. However, if one cannot find the right opportunity and has the ability to create it, they should work for it with all means.

Just Do The Damn Thing
A friend once told me he was terrified of becoming a parent. He told me he once bought a puppy, and had to return him after a week because he was too much to handle. I told him the funny thing was, even though babies are a bigger responsibility, they ease you in; puppies don’t. My daughter was easiest as a newborn, because she literally ate, pooped, peed, and slept. Super easy in my opinion (granted I definitely have what most would consider a “good” baby). But of course, babies get older, and raising a whole human gets slightly more difficult. But as your baby does one more thing every day, you learn to handle one more thing, every day. And before you know it, you realize, “oh wow, I’m really doing this parenting thing,” and you know that you’re doing an above average job when they smile and laugh at you, because all they want is your love. I struggle with a lot of things in my life (like most people), but oh, when I see that smile of hers, all those other internal struggles become trivial. When the time comes, you’ll be ready. Because you’ll just be doing it.

Don't Become a Slave to Others
The strength of a person is only as strong as their thoughts and desires? Would you agree?
