Flow
We are halfway through this year and so much closer to 2020 than we know, flow is a state that humans get to enter if they choose it. Why not? Why not break the cycles of what society continues to feed us? Why not step into the space of presence and look into who you are and what is your purpose? The answers to the question I seek are inside of me. Always, in all ways. In the times where the world and specifically our country (USA) feels lost, hopeless, and uneventful, NOW is the time to tap into the person that was born and CAN make a difference in this world. One person is all it takes to change an experience or situation for all and although it may seem impossible, it is very possible for you or I to make that difference. My favorite way to tap in is... HOOP DANCE.

From a Get-Together to Not Forever
After a night at the movies, I didn’t have much sleep before work. Having a lot of alarms forces me to get up and leave on time. That being said, I’m starting to think that my curfew for work is necessary for my optimal health.

To Whom It May Concern
I often flashback to my younger self and wish I had access to the knowledge that I have now. As an older sibling, elder cousin and model, I often sit back and wonder how the state of the world is affecting those closest to me through relation and experience. I wonder how others cope, decide and maneuver during this current age of technology, oversaturated consumer markets and narcissism. Then I remember that this has always been our theme, and technology has just boosted everything.

The Real You
If we need to understand who we really are, we need to let go of all the things that we wanted in life. Let go of all our worries, all our desires, all our ego, all our pride, all our greed, all our emotions, and all our possessions. Let go of everything that is pulling you back. Let go of everything that disturbs our peace. Let go of everything that does not serve us the highest good. Let our mind be calm, composed, collected, relaxed, free. And let us wait, patiently. Let life direct us, rather than us trying to direct life. Let's trust in our instinct, because it had picked up clues, indications, and signals all along our life, and hence can discriminate when it sees an opportunity, and a trap. Let us trust in our instinct, because it is our heart that is speaking, and knows what is best for us. Let us align with the energy of the universe. Let us resonate. Slowly, neither early nor late, but at the exact moment, when you are ready, when you are mature enough, and when you deserve, your soul will show you who you are. What you are. Why you are here. Why you were born in this family, this house, this locality, this country, this language, these beliefs, these practises, these cultures. Why you belong to this race, this gender, this caste, creed, and religion, have this political view.

You Live Your Dreams
Just recently I was privileged enough to work for the Aspen Skiing Company up in Snow-mass, and one of my coworkers would constantly reply "You live your dreams" to customers that would ask if they could ski a certain way or be a certain way. It was extremely catchy, and I came away wanting to use the phrase myself, and now I'm using it quite frequently with this kids camp that I'm working at over the summer. Yet, I feel there's a deeper lesson here—and one for adults. So often we're looking for our path, and our purpose, and what we're supposed to do in this life. What is the best way that we can help the world, and thus feel the most fulfilled. My good friend and mentor Cynthia Clark recently interviewed life coach Caryn McCurry in her podcast Life Is In Your Hands. In the episode Caryn goes on to explain that one of the main ways to discover your life's purpose and thus ease with success is to dig deep into what brought joy into your life as a child. I encourage everyone to follow this podcast as there is a lot of helpful tidbits, but this one point made a lot of sense to me. It tells us to dig in, and live our wild dreams.

Please, Believe in You
The human body is capable of a lot. The mind is also capable of a lot. No matter who you are or what you do, I personally don’t think you will ever learn exactly how capable you are. There is just too much, too many possibilities. I was told once you can do and be anything you want. But you can’t do and be everything. This is fantastic, because it means you can pick anything and put everything you have into becoming the best you can be at that one thing! At the same time, there is so much you can do, and finding that one thing or two or three things is difficult.

What If?
I have had a blank Word document open for eleven days. Eleven. What if I don't write well enough? What if I don't get enough traffic to my website? What if my friends laugh at me? What if... I can't go on typing all the what ifs that went through my head. There are so many it hurts to write it out.
