Cute little birds chirping and jumping all over the healthy, green trees with a clear blue sky. All these things drag me to my childhood, when I used to enjoy watching these for hours. These things not only make us calm but they also make us to learn something which is useful for the whole life.
I was always fascinated about birds and how they fly in the open air cheerfully. One day when I sat in my place outside my home, enjoying the nature, I observed a beautiful thing which I always wanted to see. Two little birds were building their home. From the day they completed building their home, I used to go near them every day and try to watch them closely. Soon the time passed and the female bird laid tiny cute eggs. I was waiting very eagerly to watch the eggs hatching and to see cute tiny babies out of them. After few days, the eggs hatched and babies came out.
I was wandering how the parent birds grow their little ones. I go every day near them to check if they are okay. The parent birds fed their babies by carrying worms and insects in their beaks. I was waiting for their first flight.
One day, a cyclone broke out and there were heavy rains in our area. I was worried about them. The rains continued for few days. The dust on all trees washed away and they looked more beautiful.
I went to check on them after the sky was cleared but alas their nest got ruined by the rain. Both the chicks and their parents got disappeared. I was sad but I saw a chick on the gate to my terrace. I was happy to see that at least that the little one got saved. I tried to fed her some grains and make her to drink water but I failed.
Though after my many trails, she hardly drank some water. Next day, in the evening I saw the parent birds approaching the little one. As soon as I saw them, I stepped back and watched them. The two parent birds were chirping and roaming around the chick to make her walk and fly. As if they were talking to the little one and teaching her how to walk and fly same as our parents do when we were little.
Both the parent birds were trying and teaching her how to fly. It was a beautiful evening. After a few hours, the little one started to fly. It was wonderful to see her flying for the first time. It was like as if the little one was smiling and enjoying her first flight. The family reunited and flee their way to home. I was absolutely delighted to see them.
This incident made me to think more beyond that beauty of nature. It made me to wonder and to question myself our abilities and our talents. When, a bird, a creature's name which gives us very first thought of flying , doesn't know how to fly at the very beginning. Eventually, it gave me a huge life lesson. It taught me that – “even little birds don’t know how to fly when they were young, they learn it and earn it by doing hard work and by keeping faith in them.”
In this world of race, we often tend to fall in the trap of finding our hidden talent. Instead what I say is there is nothing like talent, it’s just putting up all the faith, belief and hard work in the thing we love.

Hello! Pallavi, Its good that you're able to put words to your thoughts. It was a decent story. I understood what was going to be when you've mentioned about cyclone, thereafter i was just rushing up to the end ignoring the rest. I am not saying its bad, it could be more effective. It was very interesting when you've mentioned there is no-thing called 'TALENT' because i exactly believe the same thing, sadly no one agrees with me. I am just being critical because i am a fellow writer and i know that feeling when people read your shit and ignore it completely, rather saying good or bad. Its the worst. Anyways keep writing.
