HIGH FLIER: SOAR INTO YOUR DESTINY
Isaiah 40:31 – “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
A high flier is one with the ability, courage, and vision to achieve success in every endeavor. In schools and workplaces, those with excellent results and remarkable achievements are often called high fliers.
High flier describes someone ambitious, full of potential, and capable of influencing change. You are part of a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own special people, set apart to proclaim His praises (1 Peter 2:9).
You cannot be a high flier and fear heights. A true high flier focuses on vision, not the fear of falling. Every child of God is loaded with great potential—God deposited these gifts in our lives as ladders to climb to the top. Failing to fully maximize these God-given potentials means not fulfilling His purpose for your life, and that purpose was explained in (3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth
_Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Your expected end is achieving the purpose of God in your life, and in that, you become the sought-after. yes, sort after because no one sees the eagle regularly.

WHY THE EAGLE?
Our Bible choice, Isaiah 40:31, says we shall “mount up with wings as eagles.” Among all birds, why did God choose the eagle? To understand, we must study the characteristics of eagles and how they apply to us as God’s children.

CHARACTERS OF AN EAGLE
1) Eagles Have Vision
Eagles possess extremely powerful vision, spotting food from over 3 kilometers away. They stay far from distraction, focusing on the prize until it is secured.
A high flier must have a clear, unhindered vision. Clear your mind of distractions, leave the past behind, and focus on the limitless possibilities ahead.
Genesis 15:5 – “And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars…So shall thy seed be.”
1 Peter 2:9 – “But ye are a chosen generation…to show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
Job 22:29 – “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.”
Your perspective shapes your destiny. See yourself as God sees you, not through the lenses of circumstances. Miracles and breakthroughs are birthed from supernatural vision.

2) Eagles Are Fearless
2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Eagles never surrender to prey, no matter how strong. They fight to win or reclaim territory. A high flier risks for the survival of their dreams, family, and purpose.
1 John 4:4 – “Ye are of God…greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
Luke 10:19 – “Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions…”
Deuteronomy 8:18 – “…for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…”
John 1:12 – “…to them gave the power to become the sons of God.”
Daniel 11:32 – “…the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
Faith in God removes fear. Fear limits your flight, but courage aligned with God’s promises propels you higher.

3) Eagles Never Eat Dead Things
Eagles are not scavengers. They don’t settle for leftovers or what is dead. High fliers don’t settle for mediocrity—they pursue excellence and risk for greater reward.
Romans 8:15 – “…we have received the Spirit of adoption, and by that truth, we have the right to cry, ‘Abba, Father.’”
Ephesians 3:20 – “…able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 – “…Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard…things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
Knowing who you are in God prevents you from settling for less and empowers you to achieve extraordinary things.

4) Eagles Are Leaders
Eagles naturally rise to positions of authority, influencing their surroundings. God wants you to excel and lead, influencing the world for His Kingdom.
Matthew 5:14 – “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid…”
High fliers take 100% responsibility for their lives—their successes, failures, relationships, health, finances, and spiritual walk. Like eagles facing storms, they spread their wings and convert difficulties into advantage.
Taking full responsibility means acknowledging you create your experiences. It is the prerequisite to soaring as a high flier.
