Feeling Stagnant? Real Reasons You Hav'nt Reach Your Goals

This is what is keeping you on the hamster wheel

Many times we realise we've been marking time at the same level for far too long. Sometimes we fail to stop to analyse what is keeping us on the hamster wheel.

We often also maintain a state of physical diligence and work hard with our bodies in order to maintain a state of mental laziness.

We will never stop to think and find a different way from that which is not working but try so hard to defend the unworkable with continuous activities.

This in its sense is a clear definition of insanity which is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Any time we have to move to the next level we consider the cost and cringe and even shy away. Not the cost in monetary terms but the cost of learning a new thing.

You must know that, no one came to planet earth knowing anything but with time and practice we tend to master all things.

God gave each and everyone talents and we are suppose to develop these talents into skills that we can use to serve mankind. You may not have been given that talent by God but you can practice and develop the skills.

Just imagine when we were using stick or manual cars for instance. For you to practice and master that is like you need a whole computer main frame in your head.

You have to master the clutch, the gears, and master how to coordinate the break pedal and the gas pedal in synchronicity in order to get the car to move. While you are doing this, your brain must coordinate your hands to keep the car on the road, while you watch through your side and rear view mirrors.

But guess what, we were able to master all this to the extent that, we can jump into a car and take all these actions in one sweeping motion and the car will be zooming away without we thinking.

These experiences tell us that we can master anything as human because God has put an innate system that has the ability to learn anything.

If you see someone doing a complex thing, don't ever think you can't do same. You just don't have an experience like that person. Trust me, if you were also taken through a similar experience may be you would perform much better.

Benjamin Franklin gave a unique quote which says that "Investment in knowledge pays the best interest" unquote.

What this means is that, the value you gain from acquiring knowledge is immeasurable. You can master any skills that you put yourself to.

Mastery, which is the act of perfectly executing an act without the use of your conscious resources means that after practicing severally, the subconscious mind now accepts the act and execute it effortlessly without the use of any of your conscious resources.

Any time you learn something new, you are giving yourself the chance to have better career opportunities, improved problem solving skills, personal growth and other lifelong benefits.

Even in the great book the bible in Hosea 4:6 states that;

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children".

I hope this will give you a wakeup call and ferociously consume and learn the necessary things that will make you a better person. I hope I have been able to impact you in a way. Enjoy your day.
