In the past year, I’ve come to realize that true alignment is about more than just thinking positive thoughts or following the right steps. It’s about embodying the energy of the life you want—right here, right now. It's about recognizing the past for what it is: an experience that helped shape you, but doesn’t need to dictate your future. And it’s about shifting from a place of fear, insecurity, and attachment to a place of trust, self-love, and confidence.

I’ve learned this lesson the hard way, especially when it comes to relationships and manifesting my desires. For the longest time, I was operating from an anxious attachment style—constantly seeking validation from others, clinging to relationships or situations that were less than ideal, and unable to let go of past wounds. I had abandonment issues. I feared rejection. And I let those fears dictate my choices.

But that fear-based energy is not the energy I want to embody anymore. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite of what I need to align with my desires. I’ve had to step into the uncomfortable space of releasing those past stories, forgiving myself for where I wasn’t showing up for myself, and allowing life to unfold in its own natural rhythm.

A Personal Journey of Healing and Transformation

I want to share a bit of my own journey with you, not to dwell in the past, but to show you how transformation is possible, even when it feels like everything is falling apart.

A year ago, I found myself leaving a toxic relationship—one where I was constantly seeking validation, struggling with my worth, and not being treated with the love and respect I deserved. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one. That was my first step toward reclaiming my personal energy and recognizing my own value.

After that, I joined a manifestation group, thinking that it would provide the answers and tools I needed to manifest the ideal relationship I desired. But I quickly realized that while the group was well-intentioned, it wasn’t aligned with my true self. I wasn’t showing up fully. I was still operating from a place of fear and lack, thinking that I needed to do more or become something to get what I wanted. It wasn’t until I took a step back from that environment that I realized the key to manifestation wasn’t about doing more—it was about *being more.*

Along the way, I also tried to manifest a specific person into my life. I went through the motions, convinced that if I just followed the right steps, everything would work out. But I was coming from a place of insecurity, desperately hoping that this person would validate my worth, instead of aligning with the energy of self-love, wholeness, and trust in the universe.

I did experience a beautiful connection, one that was deeply aligned in many ways, but ultimately, it wasn’t the right time. The relationship wasn’t aligned enough to be sustainable in the long run, and I had to release it. Letting go wasn’t easy, but I had to trust that this was part of my journey toward greater alignment—not just with a specific person, but with the energy I wanted to embody in my life as a whole.

The Shift: Aligning with Who You Truly Are

The key to manifestation—and really to any area of life—is not in clinging to specific outcomes or focusing on current circumstances. It’s in aligning with the energy of what you desire now, in this very moment. For me, that meant stepping into a space where I no longer felt the need to chase validation or cling to people or situations. Instead, I embraced the idea of embodying the energy of my desires: love, security, abundance, and self-worth.

One of the hardest things I had to let go of was the constant need for external validation. I realized that my worth wasn’t tied to anyone else’s opinion of me or to a specific outcome. It was already within me. I had to release the need for validation, stop clinging to the past, and simply trust that what I desire is already on its way.

That’s when everything started to shift. I started to embody the energy of someone who was already whole, already loved, already worthy. I stopped focusing on what I didn’t have and started being grateful for everything I already was. And that’s when I realized that the key to allowing everything I desire to come into my life was to trust the process and allow it to unfold naturally.

Trusting the Unfolding of Your Desires

Here’s the thing about manifestation: it’s not a linear process. It doesn’t always unfold the way you think it will. Sometimes, we’re so focused on the end result that we forget to enjoy the journey and trust the process.

I’m learning that it’s all about surrendering to the flow of life, without needing to control every aspect of it. It’s about trusting that the universe is always conspiring in your favor, even if it doesn’t seem like it in the moment. And it’s about embodying the energy of what you desire, not waiting for external circumstances to align before you feel that way.

You can’t cling to the outcome of a specific situation or person. If you're too focused on the current circumstances, you'll miss the natural unfolding that happens when you release attachment. It’s only when you stop trying to force things to happen and allow them to flow that you can truly experience the alignment and magic you’re seeking.

Moving Forward: Embodying the Energy You Want

Now, as I continue to move forward, I am focused on embodying the energy of the life I want to live. I am no longer operating from fear, lack, or insecurity. Instead, I am aligning with the energy of abundance, love, and trust in the universe’s timing.

And you can do the same. You can move beyond the wounds of your past, the pain of abandonment, and the insecurities that have held you back. The key is to align with the energy of the person you want to be—the version of you who is already living the life you desire.

It’s not about clinging to what you think you want or focusing on what you don’t have. It’s about trusting that everything you desire is already on its way, and that the best way to call it in is by embodying the energy of someone who already has it.
