Just imagine sitting at a park, the day is like no other as the sun beams through the leaves on the highest tree at just the right angle to light up the space your sitting in. People walking around and sharing some of the most pleasant smiles and gestures to let each other know “oh your fine it’s okay” and “thank you” It’s super bright out, people are bright with bright colors on. Nothing can distract this perfect day. But wait, as you look along the path where people are moving you see someone walking at a slower speed. As they get closer you notice they have different colors on, darker skin, a beat in each step almost as if time is creating a space for them to enter your reality for that moment. Time stops and you realize the experience you are having in observing this individual is also like no other, just like your day. It’s different.
I have this theory that the universe provides a unique set of circumstances for each person based on what we need to survive mentally, physically and spiritually while we are here. Not sure if it’s an original theory but I think it’s worth giving a different perspective! So physically! Let’s just say my skin obsorbs the sun differently causing the melanin in my skin to activate thus giving me a dark brown skin tone. Is it really that simple? I’m not sure but one thing is, we all move differently on this earth based on what we need.
So much more to say about the physical and the way we have been created to survive in any given terrain. The way one chooses for survival is often, if not always the determining factor of how their mentality is formed, their process of thought and values. My experience growing up as a child was far from normal. I had the privilege of facing adversity at every turn. There was no Christmas, no new school clothes, no birthday party’s, not even lights or electricity at times. It was a privilege because I learned the hardest lessons that are the most important today in my adult life. Going back to the universe thing, I believe those life experiences were meant for me because my true hearts intentions were to be stronger and more resilient. That’s what I needed to survive my childhood so the universe gave me these circumstances so that I can be just that. I always say never resent your struggles because that’s where you get the good stuff. However, struggles can bring about rooted traumas which for most people, plays out in there methods of survival. For example, me saying I don’t resent my struggles could just be a method to deal with them. Changing the way I think helps however it doesn’t get rid of the trauma that I’ve incurred.
When you see a person enter a room or moving around your peripheral, not only are you seeing a body but you are seeing their essence, the result of one living and surviving! This is why it is so very important to embrace the differences in each other and not combat them or be offended. We are all walking confirmations of each other and if you accept the world around then you accept yourself, the world within you. You are everyone. This very concept is the language of the universe speaks so when we emit certain thoughts and true mindful intentions out to the universe, it responds. All the more reason to be careful when manifesting your deepest desires. Not only will you receive what you desire but you will also get the obstacles and changes that are required for such a divine moment to materialize into reality.
Back to the point, Body Movement! It’s not just a walk, a stride, it’s not just a movement. It’s survival, the embracing of self and others, the result of your whole life up to the moment you move, the experiences you’ve had, the choices that gives you freedom or constraints. It’s literally everything your are, carried in the next step you take when you decide to move again.
