While it is not easy to overcome the deepest and darkest fears, it is worth it. As an online marketer, there will be times when the sky looks dark and you wonder if everything will be fine. Financial uncertainties, temporary mishaps, and the everyday challenges life poses for you can be overwhelming. Most beginners skip the moment when it gets difficult. They mistakenly believe that they don’t have what it takes or that travel is too difficult for them. They fear the rigors and difficulties they will have to go through in order to be successful. You are in fear.

But you’re different because you know better. When it comes to fear, you really only have 2 choices.

  1. Forget Everything And Run Or
  2. Face Everything And Rise

The choice is quite obvious. While the first one will be easy, it will leave you stranded in the muck and mire of mediocrity. Your dreams and goals will die from suffocating fear. Choose the second option and you will overcome your fears with bitter determination. If you go the other way, you will become stronger emotionally and mentally and you will reap the rewards of success.

There is no other way. You only have two options. Choose the latter. All you want is beyond fear. In this guide, take a look at 5 of the most common fears that plague most online marketers and how to calm your beating heart.

1. Fear of the Unknown

This is surely one of the biggest concerns for entrepreneurs. When starting your business there can always be some uncertainty while you’ve done your homework and prepared as best you can. it is so. You always have to remember that if you are scared of losing the beach, you won’t be able to discover new lands. You need to squeeze your heart and communicate with it even when your heart is beating out of control.

Sometime in 1999, there was a movie called “3 Kings”. In one scene in the movie, a young soldier who was feeling afraid would approach Sergeant Major Archie Gates (George Clooney) with a question and he’d reply… “The way this works is… You do the thing you’re scared sh*tless of and you get the courage after you do it. Not before you do it.” This is very true and it applies across the board. If you are concerned about not having the skills to start an online business, do so anyway. Then you learn over time.

You need to be sure that you are taking the first step, even if you cannot see the entire staircase. The best way to end your fear of the unknown is to have trust. You have to believe in yourself and what you want to achieve. Thousands are online hoping to make money quickly and easily. Most of them failed and quit.

The road to online success has been paved with many corpses who have tried and gave in. They stopped because they didn’t believe in themselves and let fear control them. As John Stuart Mill said, “A man of faith is the power of ninety, not just interests.” Next time you have doubts and fears, ask yourself why you are feeling them. You can make a steady income from the internet, but you are afraid of quitting your main job for security reasons.

If you ask why you have this fear, you will find that you are really scared that if your online business dries up, you may run out of money. You can now plan to provide enough money for six months in the event of an unexpected breakdown, for example. This is a business plan.

If you do not analyze your fears and simply let them control and stop you, your life will stagnate and in almost all cases there will be a setback. The only way to move forward is to keep moving, whether you are worried or not.

2. The Fear of Failure

This is another major fear that keeps many marketers from achieving their goals and dreams. The fear of failure has prevented people from doing so more than any other fear. This fear is usually hidden in different ways. If you fear that all of your efforts will be in vain if your efforts online don’t pay off, then you are fearful of failure. Most people say they don’t want to waste their time on something that doesn’t work.

The hard truth is that unless you try, you will never know. It can take three years to build an online business that makes you six figures a year. But guess what? If you don’t try for fear of failure, time will pass anyway. Three years go by, and your chances in life will likely be the same. On the other hand, once you’ve got closer to your goals, you might find yourself in the six figure income bracket.

Many people fear failure because it makes them look stupid to their friends and family. They do not want to tolerate criticism or ridicule from their peers. This fear is not really necessary. What others think of you should be the least of your worries. In fact, as you try to improve yourself and do things that others don’t, you may find that your friends and family are probably your toughest critics of what they call intense fear or love.

The fact that you are progressing and achieving your goals underscores their failure. This makes them feel threatened and the only way to feel better is to bring you down to their level in order to maintain the status quo. That’s life, and if you don’t understand what others are thinking of you, that fear of looking stupid goes away.

Lao Tzu once said, “Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner.” The best way to deal with performance anxiety is to ask yourself what could be wrong. Now, begin planning the countermeasures you can take to prevent your efforts from failing.

Spend some time imagining how you will overcome previous obstacles and be successful. Repeat this visualization process up to twice a day. It gives you the confidence and confidence to move forward.

3. The Fear That You Are Not Good Enough

This fear arises when a person fails several times in his life. Many people are not good at school because they do not have a natural affinity for what they are learning. A talented girl might have failed math and science and missed high school. This failure can make her feel that she cannot be successful at anything in life, even if he has the potential to become a successful artist.

The very wise Albert Einstein once said, “Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

The point of this phrase is that you should not judge yourself on your performance in school or previous occupations. There are countless stories of people who have failed multiple times and finally managed to overcome their wildest dreams by finding their true destination. Do not give up wealth in favor of the brave.

Usually, there is a learning curve to overcome when trying to build a business online. This is inevitable. You will be wrong. They are buying products of no value. You will be wasting your time and money. This is normal and cannot be avoided. However, if you stop at this point because you feel like you are not good enough, you will never get better.

As you keep learning and making progress, you will only get better. Many beginners turn to seasoned marketers and are intimidated. They think other men are smarter, richer, and better than them.

Do not compare yourself to others. This is a big mistake and it always makes you angry. You can compare your beginning to someone else’s end. This will not be fair to you and you will hurt yourself. All you have to do is focus on doing your best. Here is the truth. It all starts as a beginner. You can’t do it overnight. You have to go on a trip that nature has drawn for you.

Fear of never growing up means that you will give up before you start. You have to have faith. Discover every little mistake you encounter along the way as a learning experience. You cannot extrapolate incomplete data. The more you learn the better.

The more mistakes you make, the better. Failure is not the opposite of success. This is part of the success. You are good enough You have always been. You just have to believe it.

4. The Fear That You’re Late or Too Old

This is another big one. You may have heard terms like ‘Article marketing is dead… or ‘The good ol’ days are over’… ‘You’re too old to start a business’… But are these statements even true? Of course not. While some methods can come and go, building an online business continues to grow, and there are people reaching their sales goals every day. It’s never too late to start, and now is a good time.

You’re also never too old to set new goals or dream new dreams. Stan Lee created his first hit comic close to his 39th birthday. Henry Ford was 45 when he created the Model T car. Ray Croc only started MacDonald’s at the age of 52 and Colonel Sanders was 62 when he franchised KFC.

As you can see, people of all ages are successful in life. You will never get old so put that fear aside and pursue your dreams today. “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” — Chinese proverb

5. Limiting Beliefs

Just as you were expecting a new fear, you were faced with limited beliefs. This may be surprising, but it is real. There are many people who fail because of their beliefs. There is an emotional rift in them. This is because as we age, we form our beliefs based on what we see, hear, and what we are told.

A good example of this is overweight people who feel they are becoming obese. Parents, siblings, relatives, and anyone close to them are overweight, so they believe the story that they are naturally prone to obesity. While this may be true as some people naturally have slower metabolisms, the fact is that food choices, eating habits, attitudes towards eating, etc. are often passed down from parents to children.

Because of this, all they knew about food and eating was what they saw and heard. If you decide to eat clean, exercise more, and watch your calories, you will definitely lose all of your extra pounds and end up being the thinnest person in your family. But to get to that point, one has to go beyond their limited thinking and believe that they deserve success.

The same is true of those who grew up in not so fortunate families, where parents pretend to be hard-earned or the rich are bad and greedy, while the unfortunate are generous and kind. With such beliefs, your subconscious doesn’t allow them to build wealth because they don’t want to be evil and greedy, do they?

Overcoming your self-esteem is a daunting task, but it can be done. You just need to be proactive and actually be alert to the way you think and correct yourself. When you realize that the only limit you have is life changing and you will overcome this obstacle. You are worthy of success. By now you’ll realize that fear is false evidence appearing real. The best way to overcome fear is through action. It is helpful to analyze why you are feeling emotionally, but it is nothing like taking action to allay the fear. Do what you are most afraid of and the fear will go away. Don’t let trust rule your future.

Have a good plan, deal with the possible cases, and work on your plan until you succeed. Even in the darkest hours, you may feel like everything around you is collapsing and all of your fears are telling you that you are on the verge of failure, dig your feet and move on.

It’s always darkest before the dawn. Keep going.
