8 Reasons Why Some People Are Always Unmotivated
Millions Of People Have To Struggle Daily With The Demotivation That Reigns In Their Lives
How many times have you told yourself that you are going to do something and in the end, you have not done it? Well, today I'm going to talk about 8 reasons why this happens. If it happens to you too, remember that you are not sole.
Being unmotivated
1. They see the bad side in everything
Usually, unmotivated people have a terribly pessimistic view about their chances of success.
This is referred to by psychologists as a "low level of self-efficacy," which is the natural ability to influence the result of a project.
There are a lot of myths about how to solve this problem, such as writing down your goals or simply visualizing your dreams (the latter unproductive since you spend a lot of energy daydreaming). One of the secrets to keeping your motivation awake is to honestly review your skills and the challenges ahead. Sometimes a difficult goal is a stimulus in the person to do better. We insist because the challenge is rewarding.
2. They forget about the benefits and rewards
Most unmotivated people are distracted by a daunting challenge. They think about the blood, sweat and tears they will have to shed and they don't think about the end-of-the-road reward or learning during the process.
3. Unrealistic goals are set
In the business world, it is thought that those who have ambitious goals will increase their motivation. Psychologists and researchers have found that this is actually false. Challenges that are too high and complex act as a demotivator and generate anxiety and bewilderment. A better approach is to break down projects into smaller challenges. This allows you to see results in a shorter period of time, which encourages the person to follow and follow until the final result.
4. They don't know the mini-habits
There's a great book by Stephen Guise called "Small Habits, Big Results." The idea is to start with a small habit and progress gradually. This could be climbing 3 more flights of stairs each day, eating one less doughnut, or writing a paragraph. Whatever. The important thing is the habit to create yourself and fulfilling habits.
5. They are not willing to work harder
They are the typical ones who wait for payment before making the effort. They seek immediate gratification rather than persistence. They have their sights set on what they will gain by striving, but on all that, they will lose.
6. They often play the blame game
It's always someone else's fault that they didn't arrive on time. Or that they didn't know where the report is. It's not their fault that their marriage ended in failure. It was his partner's fault, of course. And what they don't know is that recognizing that it was their fault will help them analyze what went wrong and thus avoid that failure the next few times.
7. They don't know how to use their time
Unmotivated people tend to waste time. They do not schedule it efficiently and there is always little they have for not doing things in due time. One way to stay motivated about time is to repeat to yourself that you are the only one (or you are the only one) who can control your time. No one else can do it for you.
8. They don't think they have talent
When people think about everything they lack, it gets blocked. Demotivation takes hold. However, if you focus on your skills, talents and capabilities the motivation arises again. They believe in them. Positivism helps them rise above those bad energies and thoughts. Anticipating never fails. One of the best ways to stay on track is to prepare for obstacles and setbacks before they occur.
Thus, the hell of demotivation will not appear again. I, as always, wait for you at the next one. A big greeting and a hug, Tushar.
