Vibration is the fundamental of all simple or complex matter. You see, every living thing, including ourselves, generates vibrations at various frequencies. These waves are also not just energetic abstractions, they are direct reflections of our emotional states and what we attract through experiences into our lives. Each vibration can be +ve or -ve, and the rate at which we vibrate decides what reality we know. Seven such important factors that determine the frequency of your vibration are presented here:
1. Thoughts
Your thoughts are the primary determinant of your vibrational frequency. Every single thought you have is sending out a frequency to the universe. When you consider negative thoughts, fear, anger, frustration, or sadness, the emission or the vibration will come from your mind on a lower frequency. And that frequency will come back to you in terms of unwanted experiences and emotions. However, thinking positive thoughts about love, joy, gratitude, and hope will lift your vibration.
It is very important to take thought, to be aware of your thought, and create a practice of nurturing a positive mind. When you take note of the quality of your thoughts, you can consciously change them to something more powerful and positive. The higher the vibe the more you will bring good energy and experiences into your life. Focus your mind on positive thinking, and you will see a contrast in your situation.
2. Associations and Company
The friends that you hang with, vibrate on similar frequencies. When you hang out with people who are happy, or hopeful or confident, you will vibrate naturally to their high vibes. In this high vibration atmosphere your own vibration is raised.
Conversely, if you are constantly in the presence of people who bitch or moan, swear and put that vibe into your life, your vibration can absolutely drop. And those people can drag you down and infect your vibration, making it more difficult to carry the high-frequency load. Dating the person you hang around and finding the ones who make you better is very important. "Oscillate higher vibe higher," and you will attract high- vibing and growing people.
3. Music
There's so much power in music. It has the power to lift or lower your vibration, based on the kind of music you listen to. If you listen to music all the time that has nothing to offer but despair and loss and negative energy, you could be keeping your vibration low without realizing it.
Listen to the words and ENERGY behind the music you ingest! Songs that are about empowering messages, love or encouragment can pull up your frequency. Music has a vibration of its own, music has the power to raise or lower your vibration so try to use music that makes you feel good or is in tune with your goals. When you pick positive songs on purpose, you are reprogramming your mind and energy for a higher vibration.
4. What You See
What you look at can also have a very significant impact on your vibrational level. As you see unfortunate pictures or videos of disaster, death and betrayal consistently, your mind treats them as truth and produce chemistry in the brain that is depress your vibration. This will result in fear, tension or negativity.
In order to vibrate high, you have to be particular about what you watch and put in your eyes. Choose the things that inspire you, feed your soul or enliven your spirit. I find that watching feel-good movies, nature documentaries, or positive personal stories can lift your energy. Keeping your vibration high can be accomplished by seeking beauty, peace, and harmony in what is around you and the type of media that you are exposed to.
5. Environment
Your vibration frequency is affected by your environment, where you spend most of your time. Where clutter resides, chaos prevails. If you live or work in a disorganized space, then the mental and emotional clutter is there, too. The unorganized environment can clutter thoughts and cause stress or confusion, further lowering your vibration.
Maintaining an organized and clean environment is necessary to keep your vibration high. Use the time to declutter your home, your workspace or wherever you spend most of your time. An organized space doesn't just help you think more clearly, it sends a message out to the universe that you are open to inviting more positive energy and more awesomeness. We all know how much an uncluttered living space can bring clarity, positivity and high vibration energy.
6. Words
You see, words are the product of your thoughts and feelings, and they can either raise or lower your vibration. You're busy building low vibe energy otherwise, if you are always complaining, gossiping, holding, and/or speaking negatively about others. This energy is then cast out into the universe, and it comes back to you sometimes in the form of something undesirable.
It's necessary to practice positive communication to raise your vibration. Use kind, compassionate, and grateful language. Stop the negative talk, and start speaking words that are motivating and exciting, handle all your verses of encouragement. In the process, not only will you lift your own vibration, but you will bring the vibrational energy of the space around you with you. For words are a sword, wield it wisely.
7. Gratitude
Gratitude is one of the most important tools you have to raise your vibration. Expressing thanks for whatever it is that you're lucky enough to already have, however small or however large, turns the focus from what you don't have to what you do have. Gratitude is magnetic, It resonates with more positive energy, which increases your own vibration to a higher plane.
