Mental health and psychology are essential in life extension and leading a healthy and happy life.
Find Your Own Kind of Exercise
You hear it all the time, exercise is good for you. You hear it more often if you have depression. They tell you to exercise because it helps fight depression and improve your mood. For years I have wonder how so many people recommend it for depression but it never seemed to improve my mood or help. I felt the same on days I exercised as on the days I did not.

Positive Psychology Welcomes Your Dark Side
Martin Seligman was weeding the garden with his five-year old-daughter Nikki. It was 1999, and he had recently been elected as president of the American Psychological Association (the APA) — the largest and most prestigious organization of psychologists in the United States. Nikki was singing and dancing while throwing weeds up in the air. Seligman, on the other hand, was grumpy and becoming increasingly annoyed. He yelled. And his daughter walked off, upset.

How to Release Your Trapped Negative Emotions
The trapped emotions are nearly universal. They always create distortion in the energy field of the body. The negative emotions are completely invisible in the surface level. They can cause an incredibly wide variety of physical and mental problems.

Reflecting on my Mental Health Diagnosis as a College Dropout
Recently, I discovered that I have ADHD and PTSD. Now that comes with a sense of relief because I've been struggling with my mental health for years, not knowing what was going on exactly. However, I would be lying to you if I said I didn’t feel upset. Mainly, I find myself wishing that I had known sooner. I think I developed unnecessary feelings of self-hatred thinking that I was somehow defective and that I was just never good enough really.

Corona has the most serious impact on the world's young generation.
The congregation has been experiencing 'work from home' since last year, attending meetings at the zoom while sitting at home, lost contact with coworkers, lost the office feel as they worked from home, but also unknowingly had limitations on many other things. All of that is closely linked to the lifestyle of today's young generation. The ‘work from home’ of course increased the workload, as many employees left the company. Many colleagues lost their jobs. Therefore, the new challenge for the youth is to maintain their job while maintaining the scope of work.

Why I'm Breaking Up With My Vocal 'Stats' Page
Short answer: It was driving me crazy. Long answer: It's a bit more complicated. I have suffered from mild anxiety for as long as I can remember, particularly when confronted with new and unknown situations. My palms get sweaty, my heart starts racing and my mind goes into hyper mode, turning over the finest detail of every circumstance to the point that even if it was initially positive, it appears sucky. Always one for self-awareness, I've drummed up some strategies to combat this over my 22 years of life. I go to bed really early. Phone's off by 8PM. I don't check emails until after I've gone through the motions of meditating, preparing breakfast for myself and washing my face in the morning. I journal. I do yoga. I've deleted Reddit and limit the amount of time I spend on social media. As far as coping mechanisms go, these actions have helped me to manage (if not totally cure) my anxiety in the past.

Kintsugi
I haven’t set a resolution in years, at least not in the traditional sense. I don’t do Dry January, set ‘challenge’ goals, or do couch to 5k…mostly because none of it is something I particularly care about. However, the reality of it is I drink very little and I hate to run and challenges always seem like a nightmare of second guessing and recrimination.
