It is no secret that junk food damages your health, but did you know it also negatively impacts your hair? There is hardly anyone who doesn’t crave beautiful hair. Regardless of gender, profession, or age, having voluminous, shiny hair is everyone’s dream. While some people are born with naturally healthy hair, many others aren’t so lucky. They really have to put in effort to get that perfect look for a special occasion. And most of these efforts involve applying creams, hair setters, going for blow-drying, etc., which cause more damage than benefit.

Balanced
One day, I woke up. It was in the complete darkness that I found light. I spent so much energy enclosed in shadows. It took giving up what I held valuable to realize I was the destructive force in my own life. Accepting that no item or being in this world belongs to me, or anyone for that matter, brought about this realization. Just because something is in our physical world does not make it ours.; we buy things to have them in our presence, but they can never be apart of who we are. We put value in our surroundings, rather than our own energy. It is that energy that pinpoints the placement of the stepping stones on our walk through life.

Preparing Yourself: The Flu and Cold The cold winter months are here, and everyone is getting a cold or a nasty flu. It is especially bad for students rushing around here and there, sitting at the computer, and touching things that everyone else has also touched. Can you imagine how many people have used their fingers on that keyboard and mouse in your classroom? How about the door handles you always open several times a day throughout your campus? In this contagious time of season, the viruses and bugs are having a party getting around, and everyone is having that party inside of them!
