My Perks of being quarantine.
Being quarantined has it perks. Well for me it does. You see, I am what they call an ambivert. That means I fall in the middle of extrovert and introvert. I pull energy from both personality types. For example, I really enjoy working with people (Associate Teacher here) and being around people; like my students, friends, and best of all, my family. However, dealing with people can be mentally, and sometimes physically draining, depending on the kind of work you do. As people, we need and require so much, and working Monday through Friday, for seven to eight hours per day; with people is more than enough time to learn and determine that dealing people is exhausting.

Both sets of mandalas are rooted in traditional Buddhist practice and have the same intended religious meaning, although the symbolic natures are different. As an example of this, I will be comparing The Kalachakra Mandala: Man and Cosmos scroll (Rubens Museum Exhibition) and The Kalachakra Mandala, otherwise known as The Wheel of Time Sand Mandala.

Gemstone Healing
Back in my present life's past, I was into studying gemstones, and crystals, and what they could do for various health problems. Recently, before the pandemic hit full force, I have gone back to studying gemstones that I'd like to do studies on when I go back to school to see if using them is effective. Being forewarned is forearmed, gemstones do not substitute medication, I'm only writing about my personal experience, don’t bother taking this piece as concrete advice. I only know my observations, and this article is going to cover the effects of carnelian, rose quartz, angelite, amethyst, sodalite, selenite, turquoise, black tourmaline, quartz, and aventurine.

Staying sane during the global turbulence.
I was planning to write this article for some time now, since anxiety is a worldwide problem that affects a lot of people. My initial idea was to just share some tools aka coping mechanisms, that helped me in the past. This was my plan until recently, and while I will still execute it , in the light of recent events I feel it is my duty to add something equally important.
