How To Have A Self-Care Day!
Before I talk about what you should do, let’s go over why. It's so important to make sure you take good care of your body, mind, and soul every day, not just when you get sick. Learning how to eat right, reduce stress, exercise regularly, and take a time-out when you need it are touchstones of self-care and can help you stay healthy, happy, and resilient.

Adult coloring books and gel pens
I’ve done it. I’ve purchased one of those “adult coloring books”, complete with gel pens. First of all, who decided to call them “adult coloring books” in the first place? I was a little nervous to open my first one since I wasn’t sure of what was going to be in there (but figured that since I was in a Paper Source I would probably be alright), and was relieved when I opened it and simply saw hundreds of very tiny flowers and intricate designs.

Listen to the Movement of the Water as it Brushes the Sand.
In today's world, it is important to take a break and learn these techniques to relax your body and mind. This can be done anywhere, which I like. Just remember if you are at work in a presentation just make sure you are not the one giving it or having a test on it after.

Getting Fit
At 17 I signed up and joined the Territorial Army and learned to look after all the kit. Included weapons, eating tools, and clothes. Apart from running around the Assault course 10 or 12 times a day, went up and down the hills near Stirling, Scotland, the UK in teams carrying a telegraph pole with a strip of leather round one wrist. Selected to be different heights and had to stand on your toes to keep the pole up. This only lasted 8 weeks and the Engineering Director wrote to the Commanding Officer requesting a discharge, because my skills were needed to work on Auto-Pilots for Fighter Jets.

What the Hell Am I?
Eep opp ork ah-ah. That means I love you. Oh my gosh. I have no idea what day of the week it is. I have to keep checking. Can you believe that? I need a satellite to figure out something I used to write at the top of my paper every day in school.

How to deal with migraines?
Headaches in general are hard to deal with. They inflict constant pain, are disruptive and lead to mood changes as well. Migraines on the other hand, are headaches amplified by a large factor. So, while migraines too carry all of these symptoms –and then some –however, the magnitude of the symptoms is much higher.

What Kids Need To Know About Human Body Composition
To most kids, the structure of the human body is nothing more than its physical appearance. They know about the hands, the legs, the mouth, the hair, and probably the eyes and ears. They see the outside and don’t understand much about the components on the inside or the purpose of any of those components. If you are a parent or a teacher, therefore, it is your job to help your kids understand the human body composition, without confusing their young minds.

Walk With Intention
Walking is the most unexpected gift you can give to your body, mind, and soul. While traditional meditation is ideal, it's not always attainable. Especially for me, someone who has a lot of Mercury energy stimulating my chart. On my best days it's exhilarating, like ecstasy. Most days it can feel like white noise. Too much caffeine, but not enough motivation. Meditation is great, except that my body wants to release that excess energy too. And that's how I started going on long walks. I started walking in high school, not realizing that I was actually practicing mindfulness. I just took a walk one day, realized it helped me feel better, so I just kept going for walks. Pretty cool when it happens like that.

Take a Walk
If I had the power to teleport myself to any open space in the middle of nature, a space away from the noisy street, overwhelming technology, to a space away from my problems…I would probably choose to teleport to an infinite green field in Switzerland. Unfortunately, my human ordinary self can’t do this, but I discovered an alternative practice that brings me the peace and quiet that my body and mind deserve.
