Free Weekly Reading #46 Mirror Dragon Tarot
The center card this week is the 8 of Swords. With the Swords we look at the intellect. They’re the tools of thought, organization and planning. As we look at the image of the eight in the card we see two straight swords seemingly impeded by six other swords of widely varying shapes and sizes. These disparities show us what happens when we become tangled in the thoughts, ideas, intentions and “helping” hands of other people. Often we tie ourselves in knots trying to live up to expectations that we had no hand in creating and as that happens we gradually lose our own ideas and preparations amid the zigs and zags of trying to please others. As you can imagine once we find ourselves tangled up in those lines of thought that aren’t ours we can feel confused and sometimes even fearful. Within this fear and/or confusion we can easily become frozen in indecision. Those around us who have contributed to the interference of opposing ideas can then see us as lazy or uncaring when, in fact, we’re simply trying to find the thread of our own thought processes as they weave through vying viewpoints. With this card at the center it looks like we’ll be dealing with outside influences who seem to think that they’re own ideas are more fitting than the ones we want to develop and are determined to get the last word.

Hi, I'm Jessica and my story starts off like any other story, at least I thought it did... I grew up in sunny Florida in a nice gated community and had my typical May birthday parties which consisted of pool parties and cake for my friends, pie for me! I was in dance (tap, jazz and ballet) as well I enjoyed playing outside and riding my bike. But life wasn't easy even from the beginning.

How I Survive and Thrive Loss Loved Ones
I realize that in the month of July 2006 I was totally depressed and did not desire to get out of bed but just stay there with my head covered crying with no hope. I just became a Believer of Jesus in March and notice some changes I needed to make with my life. I love to do self exploring which I was doing with tears in my eyes wondering what happen in July. I just could not remember but every emotions knew that this was a hard time for me. I asked my family questions and was told this is the month my daddy's mother died of Cancer. The flash back of that time came I do not recall the year but the experience was so clear. For two weeks my dad and I would drive 40 minutes to the hospital after getting daily calls that this is the last day we may see her so come quickly. That was the most stressful two weeks ever in my life. After my grandmother died I so hated driving past that hospital. So, In 2006 I made a declaration that I am a new person in the faith and I will not be bound by unhealthy responses to my deceased loved ones.

Just How Bad is Sugar For You Really
This is a hard article to write. I love sweets. Especially cookies. My wife can make a double batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and I can eat at least 20 of them. Once I start, I can’t stop. I think I inherited that “eat till I’m sick” gene from my Dad.

But You Don't Look Sick
For those who do not look sick, they have a practice of navigating their chronic illness while out in the world only because they know some folks lack the ability to see their illness through. If someone looks "fine" to you, you do not see that they have some underlying illness like lupus (for example, which Lady Gaga has) or rheumatoid arthritis that is causing them immense pain. Hence why I want to start a dating service for chronically ill folk but that goes on my after 2020 business ideas list. But you don't look sick, who says? Somebody who looks fine may in fact actually need a disabled parking space only for the sake of getting one.

Myth Diabetes No. 2 - There is no cure for diabetes
You may have heard it when it was said: "There is no cure for diabetes". You may have been involved in researching medicine. I've also heard, "If someone says you have diabetes, do the opposite!" But this is not true. Many diabetes cases can be completely reversed and include permanent remission. Is that a cure? Read it and you will tell me.
