10 SIGNS OF PHANTOM PREGNANCY
When a pregnancy is all in your head, it really can be.

A Phantom Pregnancy is also called a False Pregnancy. In medical term's, a Phantom Pregnancy is called Pseudocyesis.
This condition isn't like when you take a pregnancy test that turn's out to be positive. That is called a Chemical Pregnancy.
A Phantom Pregnancy is when a woman think's she is pregnant. And even after getting multiple negative pregnancy tests. And a fetus-free uterine ultrasound, she still believes that she is pregnant.
When they say something is all in your head, a Phantom Pregnancy is all in your head.
The average age for someone to have a Phantom pregnancy is 33 years old. One in every six cases is a phantom pregnancy. So in the end, its not actually that rare.
CAUSES
*Having baby fever (wanting a baby)- Alot of people get baby fever when they see friends having babies, and they want one. It causes them to have this overwhelming feeling that they want or need to have a baby as soon as possible.
*Infertility - This may also come along with someone who has baby fever. Most women who are infertile, have baby fever. It's a given.
*Impending Menopause - Alot of the symptoms that come with menopause, match up with phantom pregnancy.
*Repeated Miscarriages - This is also similar to someone who is infertile. When a woman has repeated miscarriages, they may feel like they are infertile because they cant carry out a pregnancy fullterm.
*Stress - This has always been a big reason for why women may think they are pregnant, stress can cause your period to become late, or nonexistent.
*Wanting To Get Married - This may be more about wanting to be pregnant to get married to the person, or the other way around.
*Developing Pregnancy Signs - This one is pretty obvious.
This is where it get's a bit tricky. The brain actually misunderstand's the pregnancy like symptom's as the person being pregnant. This trigger's hormone's to be released like Prolactin and Estrogen. Those hormone's are the one's that cause the actual pregnancy symptoms to occur.
So, basically the brain trigger's hormone's because they think their pregnant. And the hormone's make you think your actually pregnant. And this is due because of experiencing all the pregnancy symptoms.
This condition affect's the body mentally and physically.
