Your Future Depends On Your Dreams
I always find it interesting, and confusing for that matter, why people believe that, as part of sacrificing in order to create success, one must be prepared to give up a lot of sleep. Life needs to be about constant late nights and early mornings, day after day, month after month, and year after year, however long it takes until success is achieved, apparently. Look, I can't sit here and say that such a theory doesn't work, because here I am still trekking the journey, whilst there are those who are basking in success and wealth after having survived on just 4 or 5 hours sleep each night, for a few years on end. My question is though, at what expense have they really achieved their success? Undoubtedly, their success would have delivered them a massive sense of pride, satisfaction, and accomplishment, and they perhaps feel on top of the world without any sign of health issues right now, but this lack of sleep, especially for such an extended period of time, has surely got to take its toll on their body at some stage. As much as one wants to claim that sacrificing their sleep was an essential decision they had to make, in order to create success, and became pivotal in them actually achieving it, it doesn't alter the fact it's in no way beneficial to their health, mind, and body. It doesn't alter the fact that the human body is designed with the need for adequate rest, in order to effectively recharge and re-energize. And whilst we all have different time requirements of sleep, to meet our body's level of rest it needs, be it 6, 7, 8, or maybe even 9 hours, anyone that tries to justify that 4 or 5 hours is enough, whilst stating that they feel energized, alert, and not in any way tired, from that amount of sleep, are seriously kidding themselves.

Showcasing the Artistic Talent of Jess Girardo
Jess Girardo asked me to hold her in the Light tonight. I’m not terribly great at that kind of thing. I can meditate, but I am more of an activist, a motivator of sorts. I believe in the whole "move a muscle, change a thought" philosophy. Jess Girardo embodies this fully, even with the limitations of her body due to Scleroderma, a degenerative disorder involving the hardening of the connective tissue, resulting in a hardening of the skin. This has necessitated multiple surgeries for Jess, with no let up in sight. She has a team of 20 doctors, and speaks often of her progress and obstacles on Twitter, where I made her acquaintance.

Yoga Should Be Routine. Just like brushing your teeth or taking good care of your skin, an honest Yoga session should be routine. This is the only way that the true benefits of the practice are discovered. If even twenty minutes of Yoga are performed each day, the results are overwhelming. Yoga is one of the most powerful habits a human being can adopt, and the impacts of a dedicated routine will last a lifetime. Yoga is Union with the Divine, with our Highest-Self. Free Weekly Reading #54 Mirror Dragon Tarot
Free Weekly Reading #54 Reading for 12-14 thru 12-20-20 Each week when I do these readings I set up my reading space with black fabric, (for the photo, mostly but it also allows for and smooth, calm space to focus on the cards) make sure I have undisturbed quiet time; dogs are out, husband is at work/play/store/whatever, phone is off, etc… I begin with a quick grounding meditation and settle into a centered peace to ask for guidance in choosing the cards which will be most appropriate for the week ahead. I shuffle the cards with my intent in mind and spread them in a dealer’s “ribbon spread”. Then with eyes closed, I ask for the Center card, the West card and finally, the East card, reaching out to the spread, touching the cards and choosing the one that feels most fully under my finger tip, then sliding them into their positions. Before opening my eyes I return to a calm, centered state and do my best to sense whether the three cards I’ve chosen are the most fitting for the highest and best for all involved. Only then do I turn them face up and photograph them for the reading. There are times when I see the three cards before me and groan or breathe a sigh of relief but I always use the cards I’ve selected ”blindly”.
