Best Weight Loss Breakfast and Healthy Meals
We're going to concentrate more on the details side today, as we're going to be discussing the best weight loss breakfast foods. This is an area that most of my clients and members of the community seem to struggle with at the beginning of their initiatives, so I figured it would be wise to help educate you on the topic if you are either in the weight loss process or are just about to start!

Popular and controversial diet
Along with Mediterranean and Dutch diets, ketogenic (or keto) diets are among the most popular in the world . High in fat and protein and low in carbohydrates, this type of diet has sufficient evidence to prove its efficiency to lose weight quickly, although the most respected specialists argue that it is difficult to maintain it over time (which is why they group it within the so-called yo-yo diets ) and warn about their risks.

How To Food Weight Loss in 3 Easy Steps!
On the Long Island, it's another beautiful day, and after I've finished writing this to you, I'm going to a client and running some errands. Thursdays seem to be a little more relaxed, unlike the past few nonstop, hectic days, so I'm glad I can take a step back and decompress a little before things go back to being nuts tomorrow.

So You Want To Be Wiccan
In 2014, the Pew Research Center conducted a survey that estimated 0.4% of Americans identify as being part of a pagan or Wiccan religion. That is around 1 million people. Neopaganism, as it is sometimes called, has flourished in the past 20-30 years.

I Need a 'House'
I would give a chunk of my right leg to have a doctor like Greg House (get it?). Now, I know he’s a colossal tool and he’s not exactly a people person but I would make a great puzzle for him to solve. I’ve been sick my entire life, or at least as long as I can remember and no one has ever been able to explain why or even take the time to try and find an explanation. I don’t need the pity of doctors treating me like a baby with a booboo, I need someone who wants to figure out anything thrown their way. I need someone with a need to solve things, I need someone who is fixated on facts and mysteries, I need House.

My Post Splenectomy Wellness Guide
Do you know that there are an estimated 1 million people living in the United States today that are hypo splenic (have a low functioning spleen) or are asplenic (without a functioning spleen)? I am one of those people as I had a complete splenectomy performed on February 03, 2020. This has been a difficult transition for me and as I approach the one year mark of living life without an organ while not considered essential poses some serious risks and complications in its absence. With a combination of personal research and guidance by my primary care physician and hematologist I have come up with my own particular wellness guide. Kicking off 2021, I am much more conscious of my overall health. I share my information not as a medical professional but as a patient speaking from experience. Before I talk about my approach to maintaining optimal health, I will cover the splenic basics.

THE SENSATIONS OF A FULL BODY MASSAGE
A Much Needed Me Time Stress had taken over me. How I yearned to relax and pamper myself. Keeping myself busy made me forget about my own needs. I knew all too well how important it is to tend to my own needs. Caring for myself now will allow me to help others. There’s no need to go on with stress. It is important that I take the time to heal and recalibrate and a massage would work wonders. Yes, I will book a massage for my well-being.

Sound Yoga
Imagine the country of India a couple thousand years ago. No vehicles, no cellphones and no loud-speakers. Now imagine somebody sitting on the banks of the River Ganges in deep meditation, with only the sounds of the rushing water, native bird calls and an occasional conch shell blown to signal prayer ceremonies at the temple nearby. In this setting - where there are no distractions and the concept of time and space fades to the background - it was very possible to meditate for hours.
