Who Qualifies for Hospice Care
Hospice care has a vital role to play at the late stage of a patient’s life who is suffering from a terminal illness. The patient and their family will get to benefit from the services and support hospice care provides. By identifying when a patient is eligible for hospice early on, there is a higher likelihood that the patient and their families will avoid from getting hospice care too late and benefit from what this end-of-life care has to offer.

It started with a sore throat..
My voice had always been very strong. As a singer, it was one of my most powerful tools. I had been singing since I was about three years old and nothing gave me more joy than to open my mouth and belt out those high notes long and pure. I sang in church, I sang on YouTube, I sang on apps on my phone, I sang randomly in person; it's just who I was. Everyone who knew me likely knew me because of my voice. It was the one thing I had that was unique about me because it was so versatile and dynamic. There is no one who sounds like me and whenever anyone heard my voice, they knew it was Megan.

Why I'm Breaking Up With My Vocal 'Stats' Page
Short answer: It was driving me crazy. Long answer: It's a bit more complicated. I have suffered from mild anxiety for as long as I can remember, particularly when confronted with new and unknown situations. My palms get sweaty, my heart starts racing and my mind goes into hyper mode, turning over the finest detail of every circumstance to the point that even if it was initially positive, it appears sucky. Always one for self-awareness, I've drummed up some strategies to combat this over my 22 years of life. I go to bed really early. Phone's off by 8PM. I don't check emails until after I've gone through the motions of meditating, preparing breakfast for myself and washing my face in the morning. I journal. I do yoga. I've deleted Reddit and limit the amount of time I spend on social media. As far as coping mechanisms go, these actions have helped me to manage (if not totally cure) my anxiety in the past.
