Cleveland Nostalgia
That’s the thing about this city… everytime I come home, every so often, it’s the same old roads and stomping ground I remember growing up surrounded by. Since I was a baby, I lived in the same house on Bostwick Crossing. My siblings had one house before that they experienced as a home, but that place was never really a home for me; apparently they just threw the crib in my dad’s makeshift early 1990’s home office, disorganized and clearly on the precipice of a budding business venture. Anyhow, the streets in our neighborhood were new, as building projects of new homes sprung up, expanding the thriving barrio for families with kids to flock to.

Potentially pointless products I purchased!
While being in lockdown (part 3 for the UK), I'm spending way too much time surveying the internet and being tempted by products that I probably don't need. It is becoming a problem and probably an addiction. I'm freely wasting away my money that I should be saving for my future, but I do feel that buying things regularly has made me happier and helped the days go by so, what the hell!

Hot Yoga is Not Yoga
So, yoga became popular in the Western world very recently. Gwyneth Paltrow claims to have “invented” yoga. In India, they believe that Shiva, the Hindu god, discovered yoga. Notice how I said discovered, not invented. Yoga is self-discovery.

Staying hungry is actually making you fatter rather than slim
Most people think that staying hungry for longer periods is going to make them thinner but that’s a myth. It may work for some of you depending upon the body type and your genetics but it cannot be universally true. Free Reading #12 for 2021 Mirror Dragon Tarot
Each week when I do these readings I set up my reading space with black fabric (for the photo, mostly but it also allows for and smooth, calm space to focus on the cards) make sure I have undisturbed quiet time; dogs are out, husband is at work/play/store/whatever, phone is off, etc… I begin with a quick grounding meditation and settle into a centered peace to ask for guidance in choosing the cards which will be most appropriate for the week ahead. I shuffle the cards with my intent in mind and spread them in a dealer’s “ribbon spread”. Then with eyes closed, I ask for the Center card, the West card and finally, the East card, reaching out to the spread, touching the cards and choosing the one that feels most fully under my finger tip, then sliding them into their positions. Before opening my eyes I return to a calm, centered state and do my best to sense whether the three cards I’ve chosen are the most fitting for the highest and best for all involved. Only then do I turn them face up and photograph them for the reading. There are times when I see the three cards before me and groan or breathe a sigh of relief but I always use the cards I’ve selected ”blindly”.
