Whistling, buzzing, squeaking... These are the noises that some people hear in their ears. Called tinnitus, these sounds can appear in one fell swoop and be temporary but also persist. When chronic, tinnitus often makes people who suffer from them a living hell and the quality of life can be greatly affected. In France, seven to eight million people are affected, 1.6 million describe their tinnitus as "aggressive" and 300,000 "intolerable".
There is no specific treatment for tinnitus. As a matter of advice, doctors advise their patients to learn to "live with it." Difficult to make when the noise felt is particularly loud... However, some tricks can support them.

1. Listen to music
To forget his tinnitus, the main thing is not to focus on it. The worst thing to do is to lock yourself in the dark, quietly with earplugs in your ears and wait for them to pass by themselves.
On the contrary, it is better to focus on another noise, listening to music not too loud as a recording of wave noise for example. Try to do something that requires your attention: you will see at the end of it that your tinnitus will have subsided.
2. Stop certain medications
When taken long-term, some medications can cause tinnitus. This is the case of acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin), ibuprofen (Advil), quinine, certain diuretics and antibiotics.
If you feel that there is a correlation between your medications and your tinnitus, talk to your doctor about another treatment. Anyway, don't stop taking your medication on your own.
3. Eat garlic and rosemary!
Some tinnitus can be caused by too high blood pressure, which is why it is necessary to lower it.
Known for their action on blood circulation, raw garlic and rosemary are grandmother's recipes that have already shown their effectiveness.
4. Essential oils
The benefits of essential oils are no longer to be proven and once again, they will be able to relieve you. HE of Italian hechrysis, marjoram, small bigarade grain will help you to support your tinnitus. But anyway, ask a specialist for advice!
5. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Acupuncture and acupressure can be successful in alleviating tinnitus, which has two energy origins: the kidney and the liver.

Several clinical trials have yielded encouraging results, not in reducing tinnitus but in improving patients' quality of life. Be careful, however, not to go to a charlatan!
10. Homeopathy
Depending on whether you suffer from recent tinnitus due to sound shock for example or older tinnitus, the homeopathic treatment will not be the same.
