Day 30 of My 40 Day Fast: Pregnancy Has Become Too Scientific

Pregnancy is one of the highest spiritual experiences offered in the physical world, and women are privileged to have that honour.

A woman is more likely to conceive when she is in the throes of passion. The feeling of sexual pleasure creates an atmosphere in her body that is primed for pregnancy. The more sexually aroused a woman is the more highly receptive her body becomes to conceiving. Love heightens the sexual experience for a woman, and this is why we are emotional creatures. Our bodies are designed for baby-making. Love is the highest-vibrational emotion, and so being in love is also spiritual experience.

When conception begins, the heart is one the first organs to develop in the womb. Someone once told me that when the cells divide and form different cells, amidst it all the heart cells are scattered and beat in different places and at different tempos until they begin to beat in unison and come together. How beautiful is that? This alone signifies something special taking place in the womb.

Pregnancy has become very scientific and this takes us further away from the knowing that women are spiritual beings ushering in another spiritual being into the world. Our wombs are portals that link the spiritual realm to the physical realm.

When we lose sight of ourselves as spiritual beings, we lose sight of our value.

Casual sex and hook-up culture pervades society. Women and men give a very intimate part of themselves away to strangers. Sex is also a spiritual experience, not just a physical one. There is physical gratification to be had, but that's not all that occurs during sex. There is a transfer of energy when we come into close contact with another human being. We are unaware of what others are going through and what demons they’re dealing with. Getting intimate with someone invites potential low-vibe energy into us. People who are sensitive to energy can be affected by simply talking to someone who is engages in low-vibe activities.

The cost of sexual freedom is that we sometimes get pregnant in a relationship we don't view as long-term. Sex and pregnancy are not understood to be the spiritual experiences they are. Pregnancy has become scientific and devoid of emotion, and abortion has become a form of birth control.

I stand neither left or right on the abortion issue. I’m unsure where I fit on the political spectrum, and that's okay. I no longer believe I have to be loyal to one side or the other. I think that happens when we become influenced by others and don’t take the time to feel out an issue. I used to be liberal. Now my viewpoints all stem from a spiritual place, and that's where my thoughts on abortion are based.

The statistics regarding abortions indicate that the majority of abortions occur because the pregnancy is inconvenient. There are various reasons for inconvenience, such as the woman is too young, financially unstable, or not ready.

During pregnancy there is an energy in the womb that is high-vibrational, one that a woman is fortunate to experience. Abortion brings a low-vibrational energy into the womb and causes destruction to a powerful energy. This low-vibrational energy has adverse effects on the woman’s mental, emotional, and physical state.

Banning abortions isn’t the answer as it does merit a place in society. Women, particularly children, shouldn’t be forced to have their rapist’s baby. I feel that society views on the baby as the devil’s spawn are misplaced. The baby is an innocent bystander bearing the brunt of an unhealed man.

Abortions are necessary in the medical sphere. Life-threatening complications can occur during pregnancy, and it's up to the couple whether or not to terminate the baby.

Most life-threatening complications occur because of the woman’s health. The female body is a well-oiled machine in terms of baby-making. We are designed for pregnancy. Complications arise because the body is out of balance.

Statistics say that countries with abortion restrictions have higher rates of abortion. I believe we severely reduce abortion rates when we realize our value and work on healing ourselves mentally, emotionally, and physically.

We are spiritual beings in physical embodiment. We are engaging in behaviour, like casual sex, that is beneath us. We do ourselves a disservice when we view sex and pregnancy in its purely physical form rather than the highly spiritual experiences they are, because then we deprive ourselves in fully experiencing them in their highest form.
