Day 24 of My 40 Day Fast: Religion Divides People of God and That Is What the Devil Wants
Playing into the hands of lower beings
I have been on a spiritual ride for several years. It began as a healing journey to bring my body back to health from a severe gut disease. I soon realized that a healthy body requires more than a healthy diet. Healing is a lifestyle. I incorporated a daily meditation practice into my life, among other lifestyle changes, and I reached out to God for guidance in healing. Over the years my relationship strengthened with God, who is the only one who truly knows all that I've endured.
Even though our conversations are one-sided, for now, I receive communication from God in the form of ‘downloads’. A lot of us do, but not everyone takes heed of their downloads.
I am Hindu, born and raised. As I ascend higher on my spiritual journey I have felt the pull to other religions. When higher beings notice someone doing spiritual work they try to guide them towards the various wisdom in the world. While I'd love to read other spiritual texts for the knowledge, Hindu philosophy is the one that resonates with me the most. We all go to whichever one our hearts guide us. Perhaps we choose this before we are born? That’s not to say you have to chain yourself to one. It only deepens our understanding when we are open to the wisdom in all holy texts.
People of God like to fit God into a box. Neatly labelled boxes in our minds help us to make sense of our world. When we believe something is a certain way and that's how it's supposed to be, it brings security. However, if there's one thing I’ve learned, God doesn't fit into a neatly labelled box. God is simply too big for our boxes and our limited human understanding. We don’t fully know all that there is to know. That’s important to accept on the spiritual journey, because it can otherwise limit spirituality.
When wisdom is sent from above to earth via someone with the ability to channel messages, that wisdom is meant to help humanity. We humans in the past coveted that knowledge and proclaimed it was meant only for a group of people, specifically followers.
When we coveted that wisdom, we divided humanity. That wisdom meant for humanity has people squabbling over who is the true God. This shows how our human mind’s limit our understanding.
I’m not an expert, but I am open. When people argue over God, I see someone who has only sought God on a religious level and not on a spiritual level. To truly know God is to know yourself. Seeking God on a personal level and building a relationship requires isolating yourself, going within, and sitting in quietude so that the outside world doesn't influence your connection. You will not find God outside of you, because God resides within you.
Just as there are higher beings there are also lower beings with the objective to discredit God. If we all strengthened our connection to God, those lower beings become irrelevant. They meddle in our lives to prevent us from ascending spiritually, by manipulating our emotions and driving us to all that which takes us further from ourselves and God.
I have been attacked by dark forces my whole life, so I have an understanding of the nature of lower beings. Once you begin to ascend spiritually, you become aware of their presence and realize they were there all along preventing you from growing.
The division between people who worship God plays into these lower beings hands. This division places God in a negative light, which is concerning because my experience has shown me God is the light.
I don’t have all the answers, I’m still learning and seeking knowledge. I believe that we can worship whichever higher being we choose and that gives us something great in common rather than makes us different. After all, the wisdom that comes from above is basically the same.
Who knows, perhaps we’re all out here praying to the same entity and just calling it a different name and using different methods of worship? To be honest, if I was God I would really appreciate all the different ways in which humans have come up with to worship. All of these external ways in which we worship are great, but real worship happens within us.
