Angelic Delight, Red Cardinal in Flight
Monday Morning Huddle April 14

Good morning and happy Monday, Vocal Media community, and welcome to the April 14 edition of my Monday Morning Huddle.
Today, I am thrilled to share the photo of a red cardinal in flight. I have been waiting for my chance to capture her all wings out, flying in the sky, and my chance finally arrived yesterday on a beautiful Sunday morning.
Likened to the popular phrase, "When a cardinal appears, an angel is near," my story title speaks of the affiliation of red cardinals with a loved one who has passed over.
Alternately, a red cardinal sighting suggests angels are nearby.
Whether directly linked to the deceased or an angelic messenger, I find solace in both interpretations.
You don't have to believe in the above-mentioned notions. Today's huddle is for anyone seeking comfort and/or peace.
Comfort & Peace are today's keywords- how nice is that! ๐๐๐
And nature provides for anyone searching.
My primary goal for the Monday Morning Huddle as it evolves will always remain the same: to inspire readers to look to the beauty outside, the beauty that is free for all, the beauty that is beckoning for your attention. Attention held equals a rediscovery of what is really important in our short journey on this earth as spiritual beings living in physical form.
It's all the little things, the little moments, interconnecting flora, fauna, animal, and man.
Today's Huddle Inspiration
Two Mondays ago, I did not publish a final edition for March. I am trying to remain on point with this project, but on March 31, I had an experience that tested my patience and brought me much sadness.
I resigned from my position as Marriott Operations Manager. Not only did I resign from a job, but I also quit an industry that I worked in for twenty-plus years.
Long story short, a recent work-related knee injury made me rethink my career goals, and I decided I no longer want to deal with corporate America.
My most recent role involved so many complexities that I felt like I was chasing my tail, so to speak. A meeting with the higher-ups did not yield the results I was looking for, which included more support for my employees, removing some ridiculous rules (like cleaning rooms in 24 minutes or less), so I had the papers drawn up, signed on the dotted line, exited not only the front door, but an entire industry.
My initial emotions: sadness, anger, and frustration.
Then, as the spiritual person I am, I began noticing some signs shortly thereafter.
Repeating numbers on the clock, on television, in books, on my computer screen, and more. Perhaps it was only in my dreams when numbers made me stand up and take notice.
4, 24, 30 & 600 kept dancing through my dreams, conveniently placed in particular scenarios that afforded much reflection in the awake state.
Let's take a deeper dive into the numbers with interpretations from my favorite angel number site, Joanne Sacred Scribes.
Number Interpretation
๐ Angel Number 4 indicates that your angels are around you and that you are able to call upon them for help, guidance and assistance whenever you feel the need. Trust that you have all the skills, talents and abilities to overcome any obstacles and achieve your highest aspirations.
๐ Angel Number 24 indicates that your angels are sending you positive energies to boost your self-belief, self-esteem and confidence. The work, will and effort you have contributed in the past has lead to building solid foundations and stability, and you are asked to trust yourself and your intuition. Know that you are on the right life path.
๐ Angel Number 30 is a message from your angels and the Ascended Masters that it is a time when you are able to reflect upon your successes and achievements.
๐ Angel Number 600 is a positive message to do with your home and family life as well as the monetary and material aspects. It brings a reminder that all supply comes from the Universe. Give any fears or concerns about your financial and material needs to the angels for healing and transmutation and allow a steady flow of abundance to enter your life.
Surely comfort and peace followed as I read and reread the number interpretations.
My Red Cardinal Sighting
But it wasn't until I stepped outside into nature and spent some time on my balcony watching birds flying by, listening to their lighthearted songs, that I realized I was looking at my recent career departure entirely wrong.
I kept searching for answers and meaning, my purpose, and what to do next with a "Seeing is believing mindset," when I knew much better from previous life circumstances.
And then it happened..
Across the way, on a rooftop, a beautiful red cardinal called to me. A loud chorus string paired with whistles alerted me to her presence. I watched her for a moment before racing inside to grab my phone. I had to capture her on film. I just had to. And I did it. I missed a snapshot of her perched on that rooftop, but just as soon as she took off, click went my phone, and I captured her wings wide open.
And it was beautiful; beautiful, comforting, and peaceful.
Then, I recalled the words of a dearly departed loved one, my youngest two children's grandmother, who passed away 11 years ago. During her final days, we had an intense phone conversation. If anyone is familiar, a dying person's words sometimes don't make sense or may even sound surreal, but in the instant I photographed the red cardinal, I went back to the conversation from long ago and remembered these words.
"Look to the sky. I will come back as a bird. I'm not going anywhere, just home. I have to go home."
Barbara Jean, my children's grandmother, was a "Believing is seeing" kind of woman, and my cardinal encounter reminded me not only how much I missed and loved her, but that I was looking at my current ordeal backwards and inside out.
I must believe first to see!
***
Yes, indeed, my Sunday red cardinal sighting was angelic delight and, yes, it was a message that a deceased loved one was nearby watching over me.
While it is up to the reader to draw personal conclusions, believe or don't believe, I aim to inspire outside-the-box thinking, beyond the everyday physicality of human living.
Don't just look at the everyday rat race, corporate flaws, job stress, and whatnot; look to the endless amount of beauty and healing waiting for you in nature. Be it a bird or something else, comfort and peace are only an arm's length away.
Have a fantastic week, everyone! Don't forget to drop your positive thoughts and/or experiences in the comments!

That you have composed a piece is a moving blend of personal reflection, spiritual insight, and nature's quiet matick. Your story of transformation, loss, and renewal is deeply touching. Thank you for sharing such heartfelt wisdom and hope. And this is an outstanding writing, good luck.
Wow, what a beautiful sighting! I love how spiritual you are, it makes me think and reflect more about meaning and hope in my own life. And I hope now that youโve left your work, you can refocus on yourself and your own well being even more so.
I didnโt realize that numbers could be linked to angels. Iโll have to do some reading on this. I think knowing someone is looking out for you is very soothing and comforting. Iโm sorry you had to resign from your job and leave the industry. That must have felt like an enormous step. How is your knee doing? Have you started physio? Really enjoyed reading this. And your photo of the cardinal too.
I've never seen any of those numbers before, or maybe I did but wasn't paying attention, lol. But it was nice to know what they mean. Also, wow, she actually said she will come back as a bird. Like wow. And she did. That's like sooo cool!
An opportunity is approaching and your angels are reassuring you with their presence. Whether there's any credence to it is neither here nor there. If it brings you peace and positivity, then it matters.
