The most beautiful decorations for decorating the house and the Christmas tree are the ones made with the soul.

You don't have to be the most talented person in the world to get some representative objects for this time of year but just show a little imagination and skill.

We take care of the first feature and we offer you some ideas that are only good to put into practice.

Here are 5 Christmas ornaments that will bring the magic of the winter holidays to your home!

How to make Christmas ornaments yourself: a festive guide

1. Decoration with stars

A Christmas decoration made of stars will give a special look to your home. From now on, it will not be difficult for you to get into the spirit of the winter holidays, because this handmade decoration will instantly bring magic to your soul.

You need: chopsticks, a string of about a meter and a half (depending on how long you want the decoration to be), paintbrush, glitter nail polish, solder paste, paint (you can use one or more shades )

Preparations

Decide how many stars you want to make, considering that you need 5 sticks for each model. In this project, the chopsticks were painted in such a way as to create a shadow effect, but to simplify the working method, it uses a single shade.

Paint each stick, putting them all on a piece of paper. Let them dry, then apply nail polish with glitter for a glam effect. Join the sticks to form the stars, gluing them where necessary, especially at their ends.

Press lightly, then let the created patterns dry. The next step is to fasten them on a string and arrange them on a wall or even on a Christmas tree.

2. Snowmen in corks

How much attention have you paid so far to the juice or beer bottles? None! Their direction was precise: the trash can. This year we challenge you to use your imagination and turn them into Christmas ornaments.

The result will be an original and funny one, perfect for stimulating the well-being of the home. What do you say? Are you attracted to the project? Below are his basic steps.

Need: corks, acrylic paint (white, black, orange, and red), paintbrush, ribbon, solder paste, buttons, scissors

Preparations

Paint the inside of each stopper with white paint, then wait for it to dry. Keep in mind that you will need to apply several coats for a flawless result. You can also paint the outside, but this step is not mandatory.

Glue three caps on a thin red ribbon, making sure to apply the solder paste between them. Form a loop at one end of the ribbon and secure it with glue.

She will be the hanger of the decorations. Use a thin brush or toothpick to draw the eyes, nose, mouth, and buttons of snowmen. After the paint dries, tie a ribbon or string between the first cover and the second to make the scarf. Stick on them and the buttons for a more interesting note.

3. Christmas ornaments made of fir cones

Nature is a real source of inspiration, so it would be a shame not to listen to her whispers. For example, fir cones can be transformed into special decorations.

You need: string, fir cones, ribbon

Preparations

Cut the string to create a hook for the cone, then glue the ends to its base, pressing lightly. The next step is to cut a ribbon and fasten it as a bow to the cone cord.

Decide its size, then lightly pass the flame of a brochette over its heads. This way you will avoid craving delicate material. Make several decorations of this type and hang them on the tree in a harmonious way.

4. Glam globes

If you want to have an original Christmas tree, then you have to decorate it with some special-looking globes. Buy some simple ones from the store and customize them according to your preferences. Here is our suggestion below!

Need: simple plastic globes, CDs, ribbon, scissors, solder paste, or gun

Preparations

Break or cut the CDs into different shapes and sizes, then glue them to the globes one by one. Clean the excess glue immediately, otherwise, it will be harder to remove at the end.

Cover the surface of the globes, then let the Christmas ornaments dry a little. Then fill the inside of the globe with a pan or a thin stalk. The effect will be glamorous, hard to overlook.

5. Christmas ornaments with keys

Who would have thought that some old keys (probably lost in your house) could turn into some really special Christmas ornaments? With their help, you can get a tree hanging decoration as you have never seen before. Simple, elegant, and with an unmistakable vintage air.

You will need: old keys, snowflakes, pearl-like beads, needle, decorative fir hooks, pins, patent, metal rings (used in jewelry)

Preparations

Make a hole in the middle of the snowflakes with a thicker needle so that they can be pierced with one of the chosen rings. Insert bolts into the beads and make sure you form a loop at the other end, using a patent.

Insert iron rings through both the snowflakes and the beads, then catch them with a key hook. Hang the decorations with keys in the tree. You can tie them with a ribbon or add another hook.

Get inspired by these projects in which Christmas ornaments are the stars. Now that you've convinced yourself how easy it is to do, you have no reason not to try to do something similar.
