Memories: 11 January 2026
11 January 2026 5:47 am I woke up because my resmed had stopped working. Twice during the night. Fortunately I woke up in time before I inhaled too much of my own carbon dioxide. I wonder what is causing my resmed to malfunction? The power had not gone off.

Letters to my Son: Day One
I'm seated at the desk in your room. Your dad is on a work call and I can hear him clearly through the shared wall. There is more light in your room than you'd like: I pulled back the blackout curtains and opened the blinds to let in the morning sun. Soon, there will be a warm bit of sunlight on your bed for basking, which I expect a certain six pound cat to find in about 30 minutes. The fat one has his own cozy blanket for basking in the sunlight of your dad's love on his desk. I occasionally hear them arguing about the leisurely pace 'Biggie Smalls' chooses while traversing the "productivity zone" to get to it.

Memories: 8 January 2026
8 January 2026 3:43 am I just woke up after 3:27 hours and 1:5 events of not breathing per hour, from a nightmare that I was working for some underbelly organisation, setting some AI booby trap on some circuitry, (which in real life I would not even know how to do!) when a man walked up to my front door, bold as brass and pumped a bolt action shotgun right at my face.

Memories: 9 January 2026
9 January 2026 I was up until 2:30 am fighting with Avast to get my $74:99 back. They billed me even though I have not used their product in over two years and I had cancelled the subscription with them a year ago. I had to call them internationally.

Memories: 7 January 2026
7 January 2026 9:15 am … 7 January 2025 Well hello there, Beautiful People of Planet Earth. It’s a gorgeous morning, a veritable gift from the gods (which ones?) does it matter?! lol. This is a better result although the statistics are the same as yesterday…because I slept that entire time, apart from one pee break.

Memories: 6 January 2026
6 January 2026 8:39 am … 9:43 am I just found my missing Pegusus Ingot which flew away last week when I was forming it. I looked in my nearby pot plants, in the grass in all directions. In despair, I counted it as a loss and made another one to replace it. A bit furious with myself as sterling silver is expensive these days. I decided the faeries wanted it more than me. Yet to find the bristle disc that went missing under my table the other day also.

Daily Reflections
11/20/2022 And Behind it All Peeling back layers of things like hate and aggression. Like Judgement or Apathy. All of it comes from fear or hope. Not inherently bad things on their own and the two primal drives for a reason. To propel us towards or away from something.
