Is Making Money Online The New Norm?
Could learning how to create an income online replace your 9-5?

Point Of View: It's early 2020 and the Covid-19 pandemic has completley distrupted the world. With mandated stay at home orders for months on end, businesses have been left with no choice but to close down because they simply could not afford to keep their doors open any longer. People all over the world began frantically looking for other ways that they would be able to keep the lights on while feeding themselves and their families.
This spiked a huge intrest in side hustles and "escaping the 9-5". With being out of work for so long, supplemented by the govenment, and seeing a little glimpse into the entreprenural lifestyle of simply not having to clock in and out at a job or exchanging time for money, millions of people started to get creative and find ways to make an income online so that they would be able to continue to stay home. Is it lucrative though is the question? The answer... YES!
It is now 2021, the world is semi-back to normal and online businesses are thriving. Day by day it seems like more and more people are over the rat race that is the 9-5. They have explored the fast growing online business ventures and realized there is more to life than working 40+ hours a week for a company that will give you a one dollar raise at the end of the year. They have figured out a way to leverage the internet and monetize things that were are already doing. The hot side hustles that have been replacing peoples 9-5's include Affiliate Marketing, Network Marketing, and Freelancing.
I mean think about it... someone asks you where you got your jacket from, you tell them and then they go buy it, you just gave that company more business, for free. It only makes sense to get paid for it, right? This is what Affiliate & Network Marketing is. On the other hand if you're creative, you like to write, read, or make things, the art of being a Freelancer might be more up your ally. This is where people pay you to be a "ghost writer", which means you create content for whatever someone needs and then they pay for it, but get to call it their own.
There are kids out there with no prior experience, learning and leveraging these side hustles and making upwards of $10,000 a month from the comfort of their bed. People are quickly realzing that there are ways to have their money working for them and get paid big bucks without exchanging all of their time for it. Pretty neat stuff and seems like a win-win to me!
All in all, these are just a few of the ways that people are creating a massive income online that seems to be growing by the day and looks like it's here to stay. With the way times are evolving, everything is becoming more digital. There are a lot of working families out there who have converted to some of these online income systems that now get their lives back with their children, have time to spend with family and friends, and have the time and money now to do the things they once only dreamed of doing. This is only the beginning for those trying to make a name for themselves online, and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon.
So what do you think? Are people going to be quitting their employee jobs to convert their income to online, or is this just a short time trendy phase?
Happy Money Making!
