The Polished Mask of Social Media
The Digital Mirror Open any social media feed today, and you’ll see a flood of polished lives: professionals who look endlessly respectful, activists who share every noble cause, and friends who post touching videos of rescuing animals or feeding the poor. At first glance, it looks like the world has never been kinder.

The Mirror of My Days
The Mirror of My Days Last night, I stood in front of the mirror longer than usual. I wasn’t fixing my hair or adjusting my clothes; I was simply staring. At first, I saw the usual reflection — tired eyes, unshaven stubble, skin carrying the marks of sleepless nights. But then, as the seconds stretched on, I began to see more than a face. The mirror had turned into a storyteller, showing me flashes of my life — who I was, who I became, and who I might still be.

This Moment In Time
This moment in time is One of the darkest we as a nation have experienced since 9/11, not just an assassination of a man, it was the assassination of trust, of spirit, friendships and of love. We all saw it and the majority of us were appalled and reviled by such an act no matter what side of the aisle you may be or what you thought of him, and yet just a few hours afterward my social media was inundated with hateful posts and comments about how Dems are filthy animals and should be rounded up and either jailed or executed. How my family should be ashamed of how I vote or what I stand for, some very good friends of mine, people I've known my entire life also threatened even though they are among the most peaceful people you could ever meet. People with beautiful souls that have never had a ruthless thought in their minds nor a word of hate from their mouths. Yes it was a vile and disgusting act, but to hold others accountable for the actions of one or a few is itself also vile and disgusting and shows were your heads and hearts actually lie.

"Mental Math Mastery"
Mathematics is often seen as a subject of rules, formulas, and memorization. But behind the numbers lies a powerful tool that can sharpen the mind, boost confidence, and even improve daily life: mental math. Mastering mental math is not about showing off fancy tricks—it’s about training the brain to think faster, work smarter, and stay sharp in every situation.

The Endless Journey of Hopes: Learning to Live in the Present
Hope is the light that keeps us walking through the darkest nights. It is the quiet promise that tomorrow can be brighter, the whisper that tells us to keep moving, even when the road is long. Without hope, life would feel empty, stripped of purpose. And yet, I discovered that hope can also become a chain — beautiful, but heavy — keeping us always chasing, never resting.

After the Storm . Content Warning.
The house feels different now. Rooms that were once locked have creaked open, and I find myself walking through hallways I didn't know existed. Each doorway holds a different kind of light—some warm and golden, others cool and silver, a few flickering like candles in the wind. The architecture has expanded, as if the foundation finally has permission to hold all that it was meant to contain.

Unity in America
24 years ago to the date the twin towers fell in a tragic and deeply horrific show of hatred. I was only 3 years old at the time, and have no memory of it, but the story has been told to me over and over again. Almost everyone older than me can tell you exactly where they were the moment they heard the news. It’s been repeated time and again how this act of violence united the country, and how at that moment, there were no democrats or republicans, only Americans. In the face of something so tragic, the American people stood together in unity.

Girlhood Was ROBBED from Us
What Happens When You Don’t Get A Childhood? Girlhood Vs. Reality Girlhood was not all about ribbons and sleepovers for me growing up. Girlhood was about being a girl…in the hood. A girl always in survival mode, learning to “code switch” around others I didn’t feel safe or comfortable near. I learned at a very young age that I had to figure things out for myself, but will be punished for making a mistake. I’ve watched others’ children for long periods of time while they went out and partied because I was more “mature”. I have experienced the high anxiety of walking into a corner store with twelve eyeballs staring me down and asking me for my name. Oh, and I have dealt with having to hold onto traumatic secrets to protect family members. I’m sure all of us can at least put one finger down for any of those things I have just mentioned.
