The Unknown. Content Warning.
Taking a deep breath. Feeling the air dance gently through my nostrils, sliding down my esophagus, lungs filling with air. Holding for just a moment before letting it go, slowly. The cool air now warm from my body temperature as the lungs deflate and the air flows out of my mouth like I’m trying to fog up a mirror.

Enduring Love.
What is love? The four letter word is thrown around and taken in many different context. We love our friends, we love our children, we love our passions, etc.. Everyone has something or someone to love. We even express our love for foods, but what are we truly expressing? This word tossed around has many different meanings and perspectives.

Reduced to a Memory
An old dusty shoe box finally open. Years of memories flooding the photographs that lie untouched in that old.. dusty.. shoe box. Once these photographs had been nothing but paper with prints capturing a moment in time. Now, it's seeing dead loved ones and their once happy faces. Holding in our hands we stare into the eyes of the one(s) we love and travel back in time to that moment. Tears well up in the ducts of the eye as they slowly over spill and the heart pains with the understanding of loss. Photos and stories act as time travel devices to journey through the history of our lives. Through all the good and even bad times shared with the ones we hold dear in our hearts and souls.

Eclectic
Every week there is always something new, whether it is part of a routine agenda or completely out of the usual. There are plenty of sayings such as "another day, another dollar." or "same shit different day." These are not terms I would describe as my everyday life. The world is full of mystery, philosophy, and we can't ever stop knowing. Everyday when I get out of bed; I am excited. I don't ever know what the day will bring me ahead. What brilliant mind will say something that resonates with my being. What adventures or experiences I will have for that day. One thing is for certain; I will learn something new.

Happy eccentricity.
What is a job? Is it something we do for a living? Something that pays our bills? Does it define us? Is our job our passion that fuels our soul’s and mind? These answers will vary for each of us. If we are talking a job as in terms of monetary value and how we impact the world by our means of living, then I have a couple significant ways I impact the world. It isn't my favorite way of impacting the world around me, but I will get to that later.

Illness or inner child?
Unless I write the feelings from inside of my head out in black and white, they will slowly continue to form some type of storm inside of my mind. I feel pressure inside this skull of mine and the more I think, the more it pounds. Trying to rest and relax is not as fast as it sounds.

Headlight Hue
It had been 11 months since Luna disappeared. Our circle assumed the worst and even her parents planned her funeral. I do not blame them for wanting to move on and have closure, but inside there is an unsolved burning sensation that I can't ignore. To me she is still alive. My heart races every time I recall that evening. I have replayed that night at least a 1,000 times in hopes I could think of something new. Any clue that could lead me to where she could be. I have searched her apartment, read her diary, and the police unlocked her phone; nothing. Everything was clean. Luna had no stalkers, no hidden agenda, not even an enemy. Her life seemed completely ordinary. She was a 4.0 graduate on her way to get her doctorates in neurology. She kept a busy schedule meeting with the rest of us ladies on special occasions. I was lucky, her and I would meet up to walk our dogs and go to yoga. Sometimes we would even run along the pier and eat ice cream while watching the sunset. I thought she told me everything, but I couldn't think of anything that would lead to her being abducted.

Color of Sunshine
I could choose one color, but none of them describe you. You’re a burning rainbow with no color rule. You’re far too complex, beautiful and abstract. I couldn’t simply choose orange because nothing rhymes with that. Yet I see within your soul what burns and dances like a flame. Yellow shines because you are fierce as the light.. wild yet tame. As a Phoenix rises above the ashes with a fiery burning red. The color leads me to your heart it is pure as gold piercing through my head. A bright white blinds me as you sparkle different angles. As a diamond you shine bright like that of an angel.
