All you need is Love, and Love is all you need.
On Books and Unrequited Love
A while back, I met a man who, in another life, might have been my soulmate. The profound unlikelihood of our ever being together didn’t stop me falling hard for him. He probably had no idea I felt this way, and that’s likely for the best.

When Love is Found
Not everyone finds love and especially true love. I am a forty-nine-year-old woman who didn’t find true love until I was in my forties. It took me many years of searching and jumping from one relationship to another to find that special someone for me. I thought love was how good I treated my partner or the things that I could but or do for them. I was wrong.

Story of us 2012
First Meeting - Hot Summer’s Day with a Cool Breeze. A dancer, a scholar, a poet, a biker, an explorer, she was everything, all that I didn’t know I wanted in a girl, and there she was in front of me unimpressed at my expression of affection. Somehow, I was never offended, irritated or felt judged but I guess just refused to take any hint. That’s my stubborn self. Her name was Reka, a small girl with more to her than meets the eye, a native of Bulgaria who happened to be the daughter of a famous pianist. The time of year is summer 2012, we were young, carving out our futures and enjoying every minute of it. The streets of New York were our stomping ground, though we all lived in the East Side in quiet surroundings, we spent little time at home and most hours at work or hanging out.

In the middle of nowhere
What I am about to write is something I couldn't believe years ago. Lavan is an island far from the hustle and bustle of cities and the most deprived area you could ever imagine. Located at south of Iran, Lavan Island is one the richest areas in the country in terms of oil and gas. However, its people are living in misery. They even don't have the minimum requirements for a normal life such as a hospital or utilities.

Love or money?
I did my research on the relationship between cash and money and a very big question that am sure it has crossed your mind someday, “Money First or Love First?”. I had to think like for many days and I thought it’s better to take my opinions online to find put if am right about it. The question is so confusing and definitely it doesn’t need you to overthink about it since everybody has his/her own idea of lifestyle. Probably, you have already answered your own opinion in your head.

Play Unsent Message
PRESENT It’s supposed to be a joyous day for Rayne Ahn, yet she feels void, quite overwhelmed, and maybe a tad bit exhausted from the party Holbrok Studios is throwing on her behalf. They had rented a gallery downtown—filled with the prospective clients of the studios, the actors who filled her animated storyboards with voices, friends of friends of the people who work in the studios to find themselves in a higher position and some extras—with the best catering that the city has to offer, and she is still overwhelmed by their audacity to throw her a celebration. She rather preferred to stay home in her pajamas, hugging her pillows and have a girl’s night with her two friends in her apartment as a celebration.

His Safety Net
I stood there, the soft white silk gently kissing the curves of my body as the lace edge flowed softly. The simple straps waiting to slide down my arms. I stared into the depth of the oceans captured within his deep blue eyes. Knowing that from this moment on I would be safe. I would know love and I would feel it with every fibre of my being and know that whatever may come it will never be enough to destroy us. As long as I could hold onto that hope, that feeling, all I would have to do is look in his eyes.

Does love at first sight exist today ?
Love at first sight is an attractive concept if you’re a fairy tale prince or princess whose life need not heed the inherent datedness of romantic notions and the flimsiness of fanciful flights—am I right? Can you say that five times fast? Faster than you can fall in love across a crowded room?

My First Boyfriend
Love. It's a funny thing now that I think about it. It always makes you want to listen to your heart instead of your head, which is never a good idea really. Your heart is almost always going to tell you what you want, but your head will tell you what is sensible. I know that what I just said is something that every young girl will hear at some point in their life. Trust me though, I have learned from experience.

The Emptiest Night of My Life
The cheese was thawing on the counter, and I rushed home to pan sear the rosemary garlic chicken that had been marinating in the fridge. Minutes before, with no car, I had just gotten home from hauling two large packages of grapes, two inconveniently shaped trays of strawberries, and a bunch of other ornaments to fancify the evening. It was already 5:30 - one and a half more hours before my guests were to arrive for my cheese and wine tasting party.

The perfect covid couple
I should admit from the start mine and my fiancé's situation is a bit different to some. I am a key worker so little has changed for me in terms of going to work, little has changed for her as she lost her job a few weeks before lockdown and was stuck home anyway.
