Toothache
Sleep has been a mystery to me for many years now. My preteens came and so began the restlessness. I’ve always been a night owl, no question about it. It was even something I prided myself on. I would brag about staying up till two in the morning and waking up at four am just so I could be awake before everyone else. It was cool to be so bad at sleeping.

Telling My Best Friends
My best friends are the most amazing friends anyone could have ever asked for. We have known each other for as long as any of us can remember. Daycare, Pre-K, Kindergarten. Now we're sitting in our eighth year of schooling. I remember a day back in our fifth year of schooling when I think I just discovered a truth about myself. I didn't know how I fell about this truth. I remember wondering if it is had always been this way and if I just figured it out does anyone else know? Was it obvious to others? Was I the only one? I guess lets see what happens from here.

The night you called me, I was sitting in my car in Chicago at a light on the corner where Western and Diversey and Elston meet, a six way intersection with so many confusing directions as three roads cross. I was heading home- not to the place where you lived with me, not to the home we had made together, but to a new place a block away. I sat through two lights while we talked, and only moved after those words: “I love you.”

Faith
It has been over two years since Noah and his family finally returned to Washington when I visited him in Idaho. His family had came back within a weeks (after I left)after Noah had been healed from the incident that caused him to be shot in the arm, thankfully, it didn’t hit any major arteries and he was okay.
