Modern-Day Mix Tape
For me, I travel through time and space through music. Music is my time travelling companion. The force that opens the portal. It is and always has been music. I am able to be moved from here to there most easily through what I hear. Music is how I travel through time. Music is my first love and my last love. I have had many loves in between where it started and where it will end, but it always has been and always will be music for me. My one true. That and Jesus, which goes without saying but I should say it. Considering Jesus loves music. "Don't be a prude- not when it comes to music" is something I think I have heard him say....

I Agree, Trans People are Fascinating
A summer’s worth of work culminated last weekend in a two-day conference I co-ran in a fancy hotel in Philadelphia. An old friend started a new event planning company, and she reached out to me in May to work with her on a large and prestigious medical symposium.

Renaissance Festival War Stories: September 10/11, 2022
...Previously during weekend 3 September 10/11, 2022 This weekend featured the return of Jacqueline and Bertram. They had fallen ill the last two weeks and we were glad to have them back. There is a love, joy, and passion I have for this show for doing it going on three years; these two have done it for twenty years. I consciously made an effort to take the back seat to them. After missing two weekends, I wanted to watch them shine as much as the audience wanted to see them. I have learned much from these two.

Human behaviour psycology
Human behaviour psycology: (HBP) is a discipline of psychology that examines human behavior. HBP is defined as "the study of how people function psychologically". The field is rooted primarily in developmental psychology and cognitive psychology, although recent developments have brought research in evolutionary biology and genetics and neurobiology to bear on HBP. Its primary focus is on how individuals and groups behave, interact, and develop.

Bitter truth of life
Bitter truth of life Life is about balance: Balance is something we strive for in everything we do in our lives. When speaking about the human body, it's about balance of temperature, blood pressure, respiration, etc. A human being cannot live without water and food, they need them to survive and thrive. Just as any other living creature on earth does.

The Last Leg - Disability Lures
Introduction I am not disabled though I have a lot of health issues. A few of my friends suffer from physical disabilities such as Multiple Sclerosis, needing aid to walk, blindness and more. Many more suffer from mental illnesses including Bipolar, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Dyslexia, Agoraphobia, Autism, BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder ) and many more and I always try to be there for them and to offer my support in any way that I can. Although this is not specifically about any of these I will list some helpful contact links at the end of this article.

Who is Really in Control?
Who is really in control? Some might say, 'the rich' are in control. Some might say governments. Some might say the public. Others might say the government is an institution that embodies the will of the public, with access to an exorbitant amount of funds (sometimes even infinite spending). Well, let's explore this concept a bit further to see who is truly in control, and regardless of reality, how you can not only attain power, but maintain all power you have currently, and ever will have.

Trans-Right Affect Women’s Rights
You are at your daughter’s high school track event, watching all the young female athletes prepare to race. Each contender lines up at the starting line. Seconds later, the sound of the gun rings in the air and the runners fly off from their starting position. You sit in anticipation as you watch your daughter start to gain on the runners in the inner lane. As they round the track, your daughter takes the lead and it’s a 200 meter sprint to the finish line. Less than quarter of a minute later, your daughter flash across the finish line in a victorious conclusion. You stand from your seat cheering at her win ready to congratulate her later that evening.

There But for the Grace of God Go I
My parents both used this phrase often as I was growing up, “There but for the grace of God go I.” It’s a bit awkward as sentences go, at least for me. But I think the sentiment was meant more toward empathy than pity. It speaks to the idea that we are all human, and if the circumstances of my own life had been just a bit different, I could find myself homeless, or addicted, or learning to accommodate physical or emotional challenges that I don’t directly experience. It was applicable to anyone going through stuff I am not. It could just as easily say, “remember to be kind, because you do not live anyone else’s story.”
