The letters LGBTQ are just another way of saying that Love is Love.
A guide to gay dating
Dating in the gay world is like buying a car. You can see all the options online with different features. You can try out the model before using it in real life, or take it home and show it to your friends and family. Also, you have to be careful not to get into shady situations that can lead to death.

I’d Rather Be Accepting Than Afraid
You’ve probably noticed that the only types of people I constantly badmouth are racists and bigots. I speak often and at length about the ignorance of so many Americans. It’s a frustrating topic to focus on. I wish it wasn’t this way still, in 2022.

What can you learn from Plants about growth?
Plants have existed for a very long time. Some scientists believe that plants appeared on Earth before animals. This is because it is assumed that without the presence of plants, animals would not be able to emerge due to a lack of food to feed on. Plants are growing everywhere on the planet, even in the most hostile environments such as the desert or the North Pole.

We've got a long way to go
We’ve got a long way to go. How often have you heard this time? I heard it just the other day in fact when discussing LGBTQ+ education but what does that mean? How do we know how long we ‘have’ to go? Could it not be a short way to go? Why do we HAVE to go this long way? Is there an easier way? Where are we going?

Before it Ends
It's the kind of cold that creeps into your bones. The streets are now covered in layers of snow and the constant chatter of my teeth continues to echo inside my head. My fingers ache as I reach for yours, placing my hand in your pocket. I feel your palm press against mine, but you never turn your head to look at me. I miss the weather when we were on the train to New York and It was like the colors of the trees were dancing off your skin, with the sun peering in through the window. You would glance over and I could see the reflection of myself looking across at you in your eyes. I like remembering when we used to be our favorite people to watch. I pull my hand back to open the door for you and I watch as you walk past me like the stranger who forgot to say thank you.

In love, you are born a masochist
We love to put salt on our wounds when we should be bandaging them and giving them time to heal. We scratch the epidermis of the soul every night with repeated memories, with the memory of perfume. We have a fatal dexterity to deepen our mental pit into which we fall especially at night. If we experience a kiss, we have so much power to enhance feelings that we transform it overnight into a love story, often tragic, although in its essence, it was, I repeat, just a kiss. Human imagination is a gift with infinite possibilities, but it is also the monster that at night feeds feelings and experiences that do not exist in the light of day.

Renaissance Festival War Stories: September 18/19, 2022
Photo by Jas Weight Continued from week four... September 18/19, 2022 Five Dollars I have mentioned The Dregs in previous posts. They are a local, legendary renaissance band with nearly as many former members as Spinal Tap and just as many infamous songs. Saturday evening, exclusively for those who have secure camp ground clearance, they perform their show known as 'Dregs After Dark.' Because the festival is work for us and play for everyone else, this is their chance to do a show for those of us who don't get to see them during the run of the season. Last year, I missed it; this year, I didn't want to. Nestor and I head up after supper to catch the show. We were late and, the show had already started, and all the benches were already full. We stood back and enjoyed the show.
