humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
The Harm of Dishonesty
It's been a very restless couple of years. COVID-19 has changed life as we we always assumed it would be, and by the looks of it, it's been doing whatever it can to stick around for as long as it can. I've never heard the word "quarantine" or "pandemic" as much as I have recently. I can almost laugh about the fact that there was a point that things like that actually sounded weird on my ears, but at the end, it's sincerely unfortunate that we've got wrapped up in this the way we have been, and tiny thoughts are drastic reminders.

Why?
Growing up you are told you have to be good, you have to be nice, and you have to help other people. At what point does that turn into being to much "good, nice, and helpful" in fairy tales the nice girl gets the prince while in real life people use her and throw her to the side afterwords. Growing up I was known as the nice girl who always said yes to someone when they asked for my help, looked like the nice girl, and was the good church girl who won a award in her church class, taught kids at her church, knew her scriptures, and did everything right the way I was taught that everything is a fairy tale.

Dear Life
Hello Life, I have once again survived another year of insanity, 2020. lets start with the auditioned I attended for "The Voice", technically almost died from chasing my dream. Not to say I was the only person, but the second I had doubts about my talents, I should have turned around and went home. Too many signs that this was gonna get bad, and it did.

Community Theater Hates COVID
The COVID pandemic has been a rollercoaster for everyone. It's hard to find anyone whose life hasn't been affected, whether from suffering the virus themselves, losing loved ones, economic impacts, job losses, upheaval to education, or broken relationships due to ideologies regarding science, politics, and vaccines.

the ethical status of future people
You are not just another human being. You are a human being. In other words, you have more value than any of the billions of humans that came before you and will come after you. If we really want to save this planet from ourselves, we must be more responsible in how we treat each other and our environment. Technology can help us get there as well, but it cannot be the only solution to our problems. Only by collectively working together to create a better world for all people — not just today’s generations — will we solve the problems that cause despondency and despair in so many lives.

Young Fellows, Can You Please Stop Copying What You Watch on Movies!!!
Seeing is one of the most powerful senses humans are endowed with. What we see becomes our perception. It can happen consciously or subconsciously. Our seeing has a significant influence on our thinking, behavior and actions. Movies are no exceptions. We love to watch movies of our favorite actors and actresses. Movie lovers watch a lot of movies regularly irrespective of content, stories and artists.

Everybody hurts and that fine
I feel as the sun sets. As the days grow shorter, you can almost sense the “ big sad“ approaching. It seems like tons of people are experiencing heaviness in their hearts.Friends and colleagues of mine are hurting and its heartbreaking. At times its impossible to take a breath. The irony of this great beautiful world is the even though we can connect to people in seconds the loneliness and perceived non- importance of self are as big as mountains. Depression has many faces and many masters.

World Kindness Day
I never understand why kindness can be so easily forgotten. Whilst I admit that we can all view it differently, with some going above and beyond, and some barely turning up, I believe that we should keep it as a core focus. It is something that I am passionate about in the run up to this Saturday and World Kindness Day.

The Path Home
When you ask where home is, I can give you a variety of answers. I was born in Hong Kong, but I grew up in Shanghai. I’m not deeply familiar with either of these cultures as I went to an American school, understanding enough of each culture to relate to my peers but not enough that I would fully fit into any particular city. Of course I now live in London, and have since picked up a strange mix of an American-British accent as well as a combination of random phrases and slang from both cultures. I speak enough Mandarin and Cantonese to get by and hold conversations, but not to a degree that would be useful for any job. Effectively, my mother tongue, the language of my ancestors, is being lost to me and unless I move back to Hong Kong, will likely be lost to any future children I may have.
