humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
I Am Never Leaving My Kid Phase
I do not know what it is about my childhood that made me this way. Parents? My sister? Family members? School? I honestly have no idea. I guess it is just the harsh reality of life. Growing up, I guess I had a pretty normal childhood. My parents are alive and not divorced, there is no traumatic death in my life, or even a lost limb that has affected my life. One thing that I did notice was that there were always adults around me at my home and never people around my own age. Of course I had my sister around me but she is 5 years older than me and she was either with her boyfriend or with her friends. My cousins were always older or younger and even they had cousins around their age and I felt more like the odd ball out. I can not blame them though. I have always been introverted for as long as I can remember. I remember that I was always the quiet kid at school since kindergarten and seeing how talkative the kids around me were. During recess there were these two sand pits outside and they were next to each other and there were these three girls playing in one pit and I would see them but I would always end up playing at the one without them and just be by myself. This lead to me only having a handful of friends that I actually talked to and always picked last when it came to group projects. I was not really bullied, there were a handful of times where kids were mean but never for a long period of time. My best friend in elementary school was my laptop so I could watch movies and it basically became my comfort zone. During that time I would see my classmates hanging out with each other and make plans to go to the pool or the movies. I was never invited. This is not a sad story I promise. I guess in a sense, I did not get to live out my childhood dream and hang out with my little friends and go sleepover at their house and stay up watching movies while playing with barbies.

A Cultural Migraine
When I was a child, in the early 1980s, we were taught that America was a place where anything was possible. The American dream we were told, was well in reach. You get your education. You work hard, and in the end, you get the life you always wanted. You wake up in the morning, and you go to a job that's enjoyable and fulfilling. You leave work and travel to your two story home, with a two car garage to house your two Chevrolets.

what meditation is and how to learn to perform it?
what meditation is and how to learn to perform it? Meditation is one of those things that can help us improve our lives; it not only contributes to mental calm but also helps us achieve our goals. However, many people are unaware of meditation, what it is, and how to perform it, so they are deprived of it.

Is Monogamy Natural?
We've been taught from birth that out in the world is that one special person who we're going to spend our life with. We've been taught that they're going to be our best friend, partner in life and someone who will love us until death do us part. We've been taught that they'll be everything to us and vice versa. Sounds absolutely lovely doesn't it? Having one person to love and cherish you all the years of your life. Having a best friend you can confide in when things get rough. All of that sounds amazing. While that could be the case for some people. They may in fact find that one special human and they may be perfectly content. That's great!

Dear Mother Earth, I Have A Confession
Dear Mother Earth, I have a confession. I'm not always as good as I should be. I take too long in the shower, I buy from companies that don't treat you well, I drive a car that I fill with a liquid from which they take from your core, and the list goes on.

Origins of Native American Eloquence:
The move from Southern California to West Lafayette, Indiana encouraged curiosity and an appreciation for the land, marked by history. On the banks of the Wabash River, the historical landmark, Fort Ouiatenon stands as a witness to the Native American people who once spread across the American continent. In addition, to this landmark, battlefields, settlements, and Native American burial grounds remind Hoosiers of the history of the state of Indiana. As a youth, the history of the state was taught, adding wonder and beauty to the place that was my home for eight years. It also provided the opportunity to participate as a "settler" at Fort Ouiatenon during the annual Feast of the Hunter’s Moon. However, the education was lacking pertaining to the indigenous peoples who at one time had welcomed settlers from the Old World - only to be driven from their homes; eventually forcing them to live on reservations that lacked resources to maintain their way of life. Even in the midst of their turmoil, legends and religious myths were taught to the younger generations by the elders through oral transmission.

Identity:
"Opposing Us, the Self, and Them, the Other, is to choose a criterion that allows humanity to be divided into two groups: one that embodies the norm and whose identity is valued, and another that is defined by its faults, devalued, and susceptible to discrimination.”

Ready or Not
What if we all were to just share where we’re at through the day? Perhaps we would recognize the similarities and differences in the common flux of emotions that change with the ticking of the clock. Maybe, we would just have a good laugh together at how goofy we all are in our best attempt to navigate the day.

Reclaiming our Inner Witch
I am Ariella Strauss and go by Ariella Mystic wolf .I am a fantasy-fiction author under my name Ariella Strauss, and a practicing Witch and Priestess hence the Mystic Wolf name. It is time to reclaim our Witch title back and not let society or religion tell you what our craft is or isn't. Throughout history religion tainted our practice whether you were a healer, doctor, wise man or woman. It is time whether privately or publicly to stand strong in your roots, embrace yourself and this craft . This energy, magick, IS real . Witchcraft is misunderstood. Different people have different intentions in their practice. This is true, but not everyone practices maleficent ways or uses their craft in negative ways. There are many like myself who heals people, builds bridges in humanity and embrace both sides of life, the light and dark. So I just wanted to bring awareness to others that we don't need to hide who we are. Yes in some cases it's safer to keep private and please do so, but be authentic to yourself and be that badass witch my sisters and brothers. Be who the Divine made you to be. Help others by lending your voice and support letting them lean on you incase they cant speak out. Some topic have come up like can you be a witch and have religion? YES! Though unless your community- congregation accepts witches I wouldn't be bragging about it publicly during service. However for me Yeshua is my Messiah and teacher, Mary Magdalene his wife is my sister and I am a Priestess under them. I do not follow Christendom, but you can say that I am a Christian Witch OR I am a Christian that practices witchcraft. I balance both out. Another thing I notice with face book groups and different practices is many want to be all "love and light" and not go near the dark side. Let me tell as a family friend who is Native American and he is to me a medicine man, he told me many times "Not all good is good and not all bad is bad" "Not all light is light , not all dark is dark." So otherwise we have to have balance. I'm not saying go way on the pendulum and go way dark into necromancy dark. I have friends who practice that and do the hoo doo/ voodoo . Some practice under the death Goddess La Santa Muerte, also known as Santisima Muerte, is the beloved goddess of death whose origins date back to the pre-Hispanic period of Mexico. I respect them, but that's not my path. I am an energy healer but yet I also go dark and do blood magick with my spells for protection and I bind and curse as a last resort. I work with Hecate at the crossroads time to time, but I always balance myself out . One thing that I learned from a YouTube friend is that a witch is a witch. No need to label ourselves "Light/Dark" "Sea, weather, herbal, kitchen" witch. We are just witches that practice in those areas. If I were to use every label that I do it would be long, and changing . I'd be a gray, astral realm, eclectic priestess witch. I just wanted to round up again in closing of this article don't be afraid of who you are. Let that energy flow. You want to be a Witch that has a religion? Great! Embrace both sides. You want to walk the wild side and help humanity and be a Chaos Witch stirring that pot? Go for it, I know I do! DO NOT let religion, peoples opinion, or society take away who you are. Own your inner witch, Be true to yourself. This again is Ariella Strauss aka Ariella Mystic wolf reminding you to embrace your inner Witch.
