Voices That Echo
In a quiet corner of Nairobi, beneath the corrugated roofs of a tightly packed informal settlement, a young woman named Amina sits beside a dusty window, her fingers wrapped around a worn-out notebook. The sun filters through the glass, illuminating words scrawled in blue ink—words that could change someone’s world, if only they were heard.

Read This Before You Betray Yourself Again
I didn’t wake up one day and decide to betray myself. It happened slowly. Quietly. In the spaces where I said “yes” when I wanted to say “no.” In the moments I stayed silent when my heart screamed to speak. In the thousand small decisions where I chose someone else's comfort over my own truth.

The Day I Stopped Apologizing for Who I Am.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been saying “sorry” for things that didn’t need apologies. I apologized for taking up space, for speaking my mind, for existing in ways that made others uncomfortable—even if only slightly. It became my default response, a reflex ingrained so deeply that I barely noticed it anymore.

The Most Dangerous Lie We’ve Been Told About Happiness.
The Most Dangerous Lie We’ve Been Told About Happiness Why chasing happiness might be the very thing keeping you from it From a young age, we are taught that happiness is the goal of life. We're told to pursue it, choose it, and prioritize it at all costs. Social media feeds are flooded with quotes like “Happiness is a choice” and “Do more of what makes you happy.” It sounds empowering, even inspiring. But buried within this message is one of the most dangerous lies society has ever told us:

The Empty Chair at Dinner
Dinner at our house was always a ritual. Not fancy, not Pinterest-perfect, but full of clatter, conversation, and the familiar rhythm of togetherness. Growing up, my family made it a rule—no matter what the day held, we all gathered at the table every evening. Phones down. TV off. We’d sit, eat, and share the messiness of our lives over mashed potatoes and Monday blues.

Moments with a Friend
Moments It was the summer before high school when I met Sam. I remember the day vividly. The sky was the kind of blue you only see in July, and the scent of fresh-cut grass clung to the air. I had moved to the neighborhood just a week prior, and my days had been mostly spent indoors, unpacking boxes and trying to adjust to the newness of everything. But that afternoon, I wandered out to the park near our house, unsure of what I was looking for—maybe just a break from the silence.

How Gen X Redefined Traditional Norms.... Top Story - May 2025. Content Warning.
Gen X is often portrayed as the generation that raised themselves and there is a reason for this. Gen X'ers were raised by the Silent Generation and Boomers, which those older generations were generally very set in their ways and opinions. They had a hard life, living through wars and massive changes on a global scale. Religion was still a priority but the time for church became something that was not as pressured on the Gen X kids as by these generations. Silent Gen and Boomers were often busy working, especially as technology began to rapidly advance and the cost of living rose just as quickly. The older generations also were not accustomed to the mindset of there being much to "worry" about when it came to letting "kids be kids", because they were raised with the mindset to work, and work meant supporting your family - even if it kept you from them often.

The challenge called life
l Findi fe is a journey filled with countless experiences—some joyous and exhilarating, others difficult and soul-testing. It is, in its essence, a challenge. Not in the negative sense of the word, but in the way that all great endeavors are challenges: demanding, unpredictable, and profoundly transformative.

The Secret Side of a Happy Life
I used to believe happiness lived somewhere just beyond my reach. It was always the next paycheck, the next vacation, the next big win. I told myself I’d finally be happy when I got promoted, when I bought a bigger house, when I had more followers, more friends, more... everything.
