In a warm two bedroom apartment a woman with long sable black hair, in a light blue cardigan , white tank and tights stared out her living room window on the seventh floor while drinking coffee from a white mug with a labradoodle on it. She did this from time to imagine the world as it was in her glory years before she turned thirty-five. Abruptly the phone began to ring frantically interrupting her memories of those wild days in Spain with Frank. She turned away from the wall sized window and walked over to answer the phone. "Hello", she answered. "Hello my name is Tyler Warren an attorney at Walls Law Firm in Savannah Georgia"... Her mind wandered back to the romantic nights she spent with a partner there. He was a lot older of course but if she could have only spent one night more. "Hello… are you still there…" Tyler asks. "Oh, sorry. Umm what were you saying again", she asked. "Yes is Katelynne Bryant available", he asked? " Umm yes. I'm Katelynn. Is there an issue? I promise I paid back all of those parking tickets", she exclaimed. Tyler chuckled and said, "Oh no Ms. Bryant this isn't about parking tickets. I was hoping we could meet sometime to discuss Joseph A. Garner. He may have left you property in his will" he gestured through the phone. Katelynne's cat Cosmo ran across her feet as she gasped for air and grabbed her flat tummy. She thought to herself, she hadn't seen Joseph in ten years and tears began to fall from her eyes. With a tremble in her voice and tears coming down her eyes Katelynn asked, "is Joseph okay"? " I would not like to speak about it over the phone. It is best that we speak face yo face. Is it anywhere you feel comfortable meeting? A favorite place" Tyler asks? "Sure let's meet at Roses Espresso".

4515 East Walden St. Are you in the Daybrook area" Katelynn asked? "Yes I was sure to be here to assist you and also escort you to the funeral as advised by my client", Tyler responded. Ok so be at Roses Espresso today. I can be there in thirty minutes" Katelynne answered back. "Okay I'll see you in thirty", said Tyler. "Oh yeah Tyler how did you find me" she retorted. "He told me to find his little black book and I would find your phone number and address there", he answered. "Sure of course, his little black book. I have one of those", Katelynn chuckled. There were probably some hot times attached to her name for sure. She regained focus. Then she hung up the phone. Oh my gosh Joseph is dead she thought, he's only sixty. What could have happened. She looked for something more suitable to discuss the will in, in a frenzy. The two had met during her life changing sabbatical ten years ago in Savannah, Georgia. She was twenty-five and trying to change her life then and he was fifty. He was the first man to ever treat her like a woman and the first man to let her go. She finally ended up in something she felt served the purpose. She jumped in her three year old BMW I8 and headed for Roses Espresso. When she arrived Tyler was standing by the entry door in an expensive tailored black suit with a light blue shirt and an embroidered black tie. He was a very handsome man, six foot four in height, athletic build, dark hair, blue eyes, tanned skin and a freshly trimmed tapered haircut and goatee. Wow, Katelynne thought looking up at the gorgeous man who stood at the door. He looked as if he was waiting for someone and she said to herself. I hope 'this' is the lawyer. Tyler smiled as he saw the five foot seven dark haired woman walk up to the cafe's door. She was easy on the eyes, diamond shaped face, pretty hazel browns, with a nice toned figure eight in the wake of it. He tried to pretend he wasn't aroused. "Hi! Are you Katelynne Bryant", Tyler asked. Katelynne looked up to gaze into the eyes of the gorgeous man standing in front of the door. "Yes", she shyly answered. Not much like herself but as usual she once again fell in love. " I'm Tyler. I'm here to speak with you about Joseph. We spoke over the phone". "Great. I was hoping it was you. I mean not that I was expecting someone else or anything but man it is hot. I mean, let's go inside" Katelynn stammered. " Yeah, okay. It's only 59° out today but okay. You must be from the North" Tyler asked? "No, not even I'm from Florida", Katelynn answered back. They smiled at one another and chuckled awkwardly. You could see the chemistry oozing out of them like chemicals from a test tube. As they settled at their table a waitress took their order. "One hazelnut latte and an English muffin please", Katlynne ordered. "I will have the same", Tyler added. "So I'm not quite sure how long or how well you knew my client Joseph Garner but I have to tell you as gently as I know how. Joseph passed away of natural causes in the care of his maid two days ago. His fiance is pushing for a quick funeral and the reading of the will but none of that can happen without you". "Well I don't understand. What does that have to do with me", Katelynne asked. Tyler smiled, then responded, "The will is solely in your name and so without your approval nothing can be carried out. Not even funeral arrangements. Ms. Bryant Joseph left you $2 billion dollars in cash an oil reservoir and his entire estate as long as you fulfill his burial wishes as he has fully written out in his last will and testament". I don't understand I haven't seen or heard from Joseph in ten years. Not that we were on bad terms after the break.. You said he had a fiancé" Katelynn whispered. "According to friend of my deceased client they were no longer engaged but the will was made ten years ago revised 5 years later and then once again last year. So are you ready to plan a funeral" Tyler asks with a grin.
