Our Shining Beacons Of Reciprocity On Vocal

Introduction

This is basically a shout-out to the people who make our Facebook Groups worth being part of and visiting because these people make others feel valued and that then encourages creativity and reciprocity as well.

As an Admin for two groups, I have access to details about group members and their overall interactions. There is nothing personal or detailed so there isn't any personal data in there, just numbers of posts, visits and reactions, so it is clear to me who really makes these groups worth joining.

The two groups I administer are Vocal Social Society and True Crime, Horror Story & Dark Poetry , but if any other Facebook Vocal groups would like me to come and analyse their data please contact me. It would only be for this backroom analysis, not pushing the group in any direction.

At the end of this article is a list of the most reciprocal members in my two groups and a poem that lists my favourite Facebook Vocal Groups, plus group leaders from some Facebook Vocal Groups without whom we would maybe have a much smaller audience we have, they are very important and work tirelessly to keep these groups dynamic and interesting, and that is no easy job.

Be Reciprocal

I have always maintained that usually if you read and let others know that you have read their work by commenting and leaving a thumbs up on their Facebook share of their Vocal story, then most people will usually reciprocate, and it is good to thank people with at least a heart on their comment if they do reciprocate.

I love dropping into groups and seeing posts with hearts, comments and conversations hanging off them showing creators and readers corresponding with each other and enjoying themselves.

Similarly, it does upset me a little when I see posts with no interactions, and that quite often seems to happen with mine sometimes, but if people have already interacted in one group, they may pass it by in another group, so there may always be a reason for that.

Conclusion

I have to say, writing this has really lifted my spirits because made me realise how much positive effort people from Admins to Members put into making these groups work. I really appreciate everything that others do, although I am sure I have missed so many off the list, so for that I do apologise.

Just post , read and reciprocate and be happy.

This is the poem with a list of my favourite Facebook Vocal Groups. I created it because Vocal does not allow copy and pasting of links in their stories, links must always be set up manually, which can be tedious.
