How to become "That Girl"
An all-people guide to being your best, most healthy self
Welcome to how to be "that girl." Although this task may seem impossible sometimes, i'm here to show you how you can become your best self. healthy foods, smoothies, workouts, and cleaning is not as had as it sounds after you get into it. So grab your popcorn, change into something comfy, and read this article. then, go become "that" girl! Let's start off with step #1
1. No good days exist without bad ones. The amount of times I have gotten up and sat on my phone for hours on end. These good, productive and healthy days do not happen unless you give your body a break every once in a while.
2. Diet does just as much as workout. If you are hoping to change your weight, (even though everyone is beautiful,) just remember that changing your diet can be just as affective as a workout.
3. Keep your environment clean. One thing I struggle with endlessly is having a clean workspace. When your workspace is dirty, it can be so unmotivating to do anything or clean it. As you see a mess forming, clean it up before it gets too out of hand. Don't worry, thank me later :)
4. Keep your tasks in front of you. For example, if you have family chores, homework, or anything else important, try to get those things done in the early hours of the day. Even if it's something small like washing your face or making your bed. If you procrastinate, your job won't be as well done, and especially if it's homework, you'll be worrying about it all day.
5. Have something to motivate you. Now, if your doing a really hard task that your brain really doesn't want to do, the best incentive is a reward. Don't do this with every task, but if you have to write a long paper, or do something really daring, give yourself something to look forward to later, and then eventually take those incentives away and you'll be confident in that skill.
6. Focus on the little things. Big things like feeling better cannot exist without fixing the little things. For example, cleaning your room, doing your skincare, making your bed, putting away laundry. These little things can totally refresh your mind, leaving you in a better mood.
7. Take breaks! Everybody is human, and nobody's perfect. If your body is telling you it needs a break, give it a break. This will ultimately make the job be done better because you have more energy and commitment.
8. If you are really trying to be "that" girl, never waste a minute. Every second of a day is very important, and it's difficult to get all of those tasks done if you're distracted.
9. Keep off electronics. Electronics like your phone or computer can distract you in your healthy day! Being "that" girl means that phones can bring you back into a rut
10. Wake up early! Waking up at 10 or 11, it gives you a couple hours less time to get stuff done. If you want to have ideal time, waking up around 8 or 9 would be more convenient.
P.S - you don't have to be that girl! this is just a guide if you want to be your healthiest self.
Just remember, not all "that girls" look the same. Your dream self could be to remember to make your bed in the morning, or to workout, or to be a better cook. You don't need to be like everybody else. You are your own person. Now go out there and be your healthy self <3
