The light in the Cabin
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. As Charlie crept around the cabin, he saw that it was more than a single candle. The room was a fire with many candles burning bright. Yet there was no one inside. Charlie searched the room, straining to see through the filth ridden glass. He could make out at least 12 candles. Arranged in a circle, there were objects littered around and within the circle. "What is going on here?" Charlie observed. He reached up and with his sleeve and began to wipe the grime from the glass. Something odd was going on here. There had been all kinds of stories about the abandoned cabin. Some say it was haunted. Others believe witches use the location for their magic. As far as Charlie knew, he had never seen anyone come in or out of the cabin. Charlie had a bird's eye view of the cabin from his house across the lake. The plot of land had been left years before he was born. His parents said as far as they knew, the cabin never had a resident.

Gioconda's voice
“Smile, Lisa… smile, my fragile creation”, Leonardo softly whispered to the painting, but Lisa doesn’t answer. Its eighteen years that Leonardo Da Vinci is trying to solve his enigma of which himself gave birth. Nobody doubts Leonardo’s genius, and yet nobody knows where he is, dead or gone. Some think that he is gone mad, some think that he fell in obsession with this last commission. Indeed, Leonardo is not only obsessed with this last paint, but absorbed like water in a sponge. He can hide from people around, he could escape in order to obtain peace of soul, and yet, he cannot escape from his mind, our prison. There is no night without the ancestral, obscure and darkness of his nightmares. Every nightmare is the same; he dreams the painting, his artwork, his Lisa, whispering to him its terrific poem:

The Cabin in the Woods
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. This seemed strange, albeit not altogether unbelievable. The cabin was still sturdy, strong and built on a solid foundation. Fisherman, hikers and kids would often be seen in the woods or at the lake. It wouldn’t be unheard of for someone to go inside. Although why at last light of dusk would someone be lighting candles in an empty cabin? I tried to ignore it and focus on my training. I had been feeling somewhat off lately, out of sorts. I needed to focus on the job at hand, work on my strength, my focus and determination.

Screeching Shadows
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. I felt compelled to walk toward it despite the uneasy feeling arising within. Slightly hunched over, I crept forward to avoid being seen. With each step I felt more anxious. My heart began beating faster and my breathing became more labored. My eyes widened as I tried not to blink.

Event
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. The night was a new moon, so this out of place flame was the only source of light amongst the trees. No one was around to see it as it burned through the night, and when the sunrise came, it went. This would continue every new moon night through the next three months; the flame was lit just as the sun started to descend, and was extinguished just as it began to rise. Even though it was summer, and more people found themselves in the woods, no one ever saw the candle, since the cabin was in such a remote part of the woods which no one ever visited. Despite this, when the sky was absent a moon, the candle would be lit.

The Prospector
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. The light did not flicker or dance, even though the wind howled through the trees. Nor did the light cast a yellow glow; no the light was blue with a ghostly pallor.
